Does the job, but not Apple's best
The large button on the top of the remote lets you scroll or click. This takes some getting used to, and you will make some mistakes. I also don’t think the interface is as intuitive as the Fire Stick and some others. I have an iPhone and Apple Watch, but I don’t think this design measures up to those two.

The Apple TV is amazing!! But the remote is NOT
I always said “why do I need an Apple TV if I have a smart TV?” But after owning one it is hands down something I could not live without. The ability to airplay to my TV, use it as a smart hub, voice control, and the voice search function and so many more make it super convenient. Here is where it falls short. I am super careful and handle my things with care. The power button popped out (google it and it’s common) also sometimes when you use the “touch gesture” to navigate the tv or close apps with the middle button it will sometimes just jitter and not work smoothly. I’m over the moon for the Apple TV and I will keep buying them but I hope the 3rd gen has a better quality remote or they redesign it in the 4th gen.

Terrible Remote
Less than a year of having this and the remote is complete garbage. In the past two weeks, the Apple TV has started to do the following: - glitches and scrolls forever after pressing a button once - loses connection frequently and won’t respond to any button being pressed - remote only works if standing a couple feet away from the box Very disheartening after paying such a high price. Looking into an alternative now.

So glad I upgraded!
I was on the fence for a long time on whether or not to upgrade my old Apple TV. I am SO glad I did. There are so many apps available for download and I like this remote way more. It’s a lot easier to navigate on the screen now, and so responsive. Worth it for sure!

Awesome streaming box for the Apple Ecosystem
Apple sure does make a fine product and it shows with these Apple TV's. I have one hooked up in my bedroom at home and I am tempted to hook another one up inside of my Sleeper cab. 4K Video is the bees knees and let me tell you when I say this thing can do it all, it CAN do it all! You're able to load up Apple Arcade on this device, APPLE ARCADE!! I love being able to have all my streaming services right on my TV and controlled with either my iPhone or the supplied remote. Setup is stupid simple and gets you up and running within minutes.
