Q: Do these have soft or medium bristles? My gums are too sensitive for anything harder than soft :(

    it's cool, but...

it's cool, but I don't think it makes my teeth any cleaner than using a manual, non-vibrating toothbrush. I like the sleek, aluminum design, though, and the stickers that allow you to mount it on the wall

Overall good product, albeit one gripe

I know this is probably pointless now that there are new brushes available and I have them, but I wanted to give some constructive feedback regarding the design. The overall look it good, but the place and way the brush head connects to the bottom is not great. I definitely prefer the new designs of the Ultra Lite Sonic and Rev Oscillating.

    Upgrade from kids, continuing users

Family of 4 and we all have quip toothbrushes. This was an upgrade to my daughter’s toothbrush from the kids plastic version. Will continue using these products for the foreseeable future.

    Best toothbrush I’ve ever owned!

So, I love this black “standard” Quip brush so much that I just bought two more of them to keep around. This toothbrush is just superb in every way. I love the 30-second vibration and I eventually went for double that time (4 minutes instead of 2) and I find it’s just perfect. Best toothbrush I’ve ever owned, without question! I have had occasion issues with the inability of a new brush head to firmly latch into the little spots on the bottom part of the brush, but I’ve found that if I do have trouble, 95% of the time I just didn’t attach it quite right and a careful refit fixes the issue. The other 5% of the time I realize that a lot of time has passed and I needed a new brush. In summary, I have to say I absolutely love this brush!

Stops Working, Cheap Design - Would not Recommend

I was a quip customer for years, replaced my Sonic Toothbrush with a new one about 7 months ago and it broke, so I had it replaced. The second one broke after just one brush head replacement. Just stopped vibrating at all. Never had this problem in the past, so it seems like there's a real design problem with the newer version. Would not recommend, as it's been annoying to replace and useless because it stops vibrating after just a few months of use. A real shame, this used to be a great electronic toothbrush.

    Flaw design

It keeps breaking! i change the batteries and it wont even vibrate. try cleaning the insides to take out paste build-up and it wont work properly. i’ve had it changed with the gurantee and the same thn happened again within months of the replacement.

    Design Flaw

I genuinely love my quip, but it for sure has a design flaw. I have hard water and always dry my brush handle after brushing to prevent mineral build up, yet the brush heads become very hard to remove. Because of this, upon remove, the top of my quip brush has broken (the very top thin part where it comes to a point—the point of attachment). This affect the brush heads ability to reliably stay on and it often pops off during brushing. And yes, I always follow remove and replacement instructions. This has happened to me twice (I've been very careful with the second brush) and of course always outside the warranty window. I bought this brush to be more environmentally friendly, and while this lifespan of 2ish years is better than a traditional brush, I expected better. It's also just frustrating that it wasn't a one-off issue. I'm now debating if i get another quip or change brands sadly.

    I’m a believer!

I like simplicity and elegance. I hate contraptions and clutter. So when Quip first introduced their Sonic Toothbrush, I knew it was made for me. Over the years, I’ve worn out a few (nothing lasts forever), so I’ve just received my 4th one. My dental checkups have never been better, and I don’t have cords all over my bathroom vanity. And getting a new brush head and battery in the mail every few months is very convenient. Plus, it’s a breeze to travel with. I’m a believer!

Save your money. This brush is worthless.

Save your money. This brush is worthless. The outer, rubber bristles neutralize the inner brush, and the inner brush itself hardly vibrates enough to make up for this. If you love good design, you will hate this brush.

    Bad brushes

Two quip toothbrushes (one rechargeable and one battery) wil not stay on for the duration of the 2 minute brush. They turn off part way through brushing and sometimes can be restarted for a little bit, but then turn off completely, dead. Had earlier Quip toothbrush and did not have this problem. Bad switch on latest models?

    Disappointed in this toothbrush.

I wasn't pleased with this toothbrush. I purchased 2/28 and a week later the battery already gave out. I love the toothpaste and it cleans teeth well, but unfortunately I already need to purchase another toothbrush. I also found the button is a little tough to turn on I wish it was a little more sensitive to the touch.
