I have never been happier. My teeth feel cleaner already. The form and fit in your hand is excellent!

Terrible toothbrush
I bought two of these toothbrushes for myself and my husband a year ago. They were bad from the beginning, constantly buzzing because we were “brushing too hard” even though we both felt we were barely even touching our teeth. Then about 10 months in, the brush pods started coming off mid-brush, rendering the toothbrushes completely useless. Quip did send us new ones, but they have the exact same buzzing problem as the first ones. So disappointing. We wish we had stuck with the original quip brushes. Newer isn’t always better.

We're so sorry to hear about your experience. We never recommend turning off your pressure sensor, as it’s there to protect your teeth and gums, however, you’re able to toggle this setting on and off via the quip App, available to download via the App Store or Google Play Store. We're sure you're also already aware of this as you've been using the brush for quite sometime, but our quip Ultra does all the work for you, meaning manual, circular brushing strokes are not required, just simply glide it over your teeth in a single sweeping motion. We sometimes see the pressure sensor engaging when it's used like our original Sonic Toothbrush so just a note <3

Is it worth it, I say Yes
Well I am sure it cleans better than a regular brush or my old quip brush but I'll find at the dentist this Monday how it's doing.

Could be good but I'll never know
Bought this for $100. Dead right out of the box even though it’s supposed to be ready to use immediately. Charged it all night 12+ hours. Still dead. Held the power button for 30seconds to reset as google suggested. Still dead. No problem. Stuff happens. Exchanged it for an exact replacement at a different target. Literally same issue. Completely dead. No indicator light to show it’s charging. Returned the second one without ever even getting to use it.

We're so sorry about your experience :( Depending on the model, you may need to complete a full product reset before you can get to brushing. Please check out this help article with a step by step and video guide: https://getquip.gorgias.help/en-US/my-quip-ultra-isnt-turning-on-4382228

Works great, looks great
I'd be lying if I said looks don't matter, because they absolutely do. This toothbrush not only cleans my teeth well, but it looks cool doing it. I was ready for an upgrade, and this fits the bill. Highly recommend.

Good
I like it, it's a good toothbrush. Only one thing is I don't really care for how messy it can be. When it's turned on the vibration can make the toothpaste fly everywhere and it makes a mess...

Unhappy
I feel like it doesn’t clean my teeth properly. It shuts off because I’m putting too much pressure. I guess I wish I never changed for my other toothbrush.

Great upgrade!
We love the toothbrushes, but wish they came with a cover for the toothbrush head.

Next Gen Smart Electric Toothbrush by Quip: A HIT!
I’ve been using the Next Gen Smart Sonic Electric toothbrush from quip for about 3 weeks. I was using a regular battery quip before this and a Sonic Care Electric brush before that. I really like the ability to choose the intensity setting, the long lasting charge, and the way the brush fits in my hand. It’s easy to charge and the 2 minute timer works great. Looking forward to summer travel, its case is very thin, much thinner than my previous Sonic Care.

Looks nice, but doesnt last!
I’ve had 2 Quip Ultra’s fail in about 6 months. My latest one will no longer charge and gets quite hot to the touch. Also, the silicone feels nice, but doesnt last long. My brush has discolored and looks gross after a short period of time. I used to love Quip especially with their solid all metal bodies, but this brush is a major disappointment.

Perfect if it can Mount like the OG Quip Sonic
For the price point, this Ultra Next Gen Smart Sonic is almost everything I'm looking for in an electric toothbrush. It auto turns off at the 2 min mark, unlike the Oral B Pro 1000 does not and many other brands / models. I love the color and it holds easier than the OG Quip Sonic, but still have difficulties comfortably holding it in general and do wish it didn't need to be in a stand on the counter and was mountable like the OG Sonic brush, so not the best for smaller bathrooms you find in lots of urban apartments where the counter is about 4 inches on both sides of the sink and the brush can easily fall off the counter. I do prefer the non-detachable head and rechargeable capability over the battery-powered OG Sonic, so this Next Gen is a better option for my needs. If only it can mount to the vanity mirror or something like that and it would be perfect.

Solid toothbrush
Pretty great toothbrush and love the fact that only the top piece of the brush comes off for replacement. Love the charger and how minimal that is and the fact that it came with a travel case and stand is awesome. I only wish that you could lock the intensity so you don't accidentally change it as you tap the side of it. I think that at least based on the sensor most of the higher intensities are too much so I typically keep to the same one but it moves if I accidentally touch the slider.

Don't waste your money
Have been using this for 3 weeks and my mouth is just not as clean as it used to be with old Sonicare. The head is smaller, a the overall design and vibrations are not as functional for the cleanest oral health. Just ordered new Sonicare to replace the Quip ultra. Don’t waste your money like I did.

Great!
Have used quips standard electric toothbrush for years. Upgraded because my dentist said I was brushing too hard. This toothbrush not only gets my teeth amazingly clean, but is still soft enough and has a pressure sensor to ensure I don’t brush too hard. I also like that I can see how well I’m brushing when paired with the app.

Great Brush / silly design choices
Overall it’s a nice brush and I feel like it works fine. I have been using Quip products for 5+ years now and I like the advancements in models offered. However, there are some design choices that make me scratch my head. First, why are we creating more plastic and more pieces by having (needing) a separate base/stand to keep the brush standing upright on a flat surface? Just make the bottom of the brush FLAT, right? So much talk about conservation and not creating more waste, but here we go with an absolutely unnecessary extra piece of plastic. Second critique is that the brush can only be mounted to a mirror or flat vertical surface when you use the charger. So now if I want to hang up my brush, up out of the way, I have a cord dangling, constantly. Not clean, not tidy, not thought-out. What’s crazy is, the battery only needs charging once every couple of months, so needing to use the charger just to hang up the brush is silly. Quip, I am available to consult on version 2.0 and would be happy to provide honest, constructive feedback as a tester. You’ve come so far, let’s make this brush even better!

Loving it!
I’ve been a long time Quip user and absolutely love that they came out with a rechargeable version that’s more like a traditional electric toothbrush. I’ve been using it for several months now and I really enjoy the adjustable intensity and how the brush responds if you press too hard. The battery life is also amazing, I charge it maybe once a month with daily use. It’s a great investment!
