Disconnects Bluetooth
The charge lasts for a time, they stay in ear perfectly, if it weren't for the fact that they dont keep connected, they would be perfect. About every hour or 2 they disconnect from Bluetooth and reconnect 1 minute or so later if I dont push for it to connect faster

Good Sound, But a Step Back From the Original
Although I enjoy the sound quality and battery life, I think the first version of these headphones was far superior. These do feel lighter than the previous version, which is nice, but the seal on the earbuds is not as tight, so sound leaks out more easily. The biggest flaw is that the left earbud disconnects randomly—especially in the middle of a run—and the only way to fix it is to place it back in the case and reconnect it. If these issues were resolved, this would have been a great step forward. Unfortunately, I believe these headphones took two steps back.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Bluetooth performs well within a 30-foot range, but walls, obstacles, and other wireless devices can impede this. If you experience dropouts within 10 feet, there may be interference. To resolve the issue with your JBL Endurance Race, ensure it is within 10 feet of your device with a clear line of sight (no obstacles). Try to forget/unpair the speaker on your device and initiate a reset. To reset your unit, first make sure that the earbuds are not charging, tap both buds' sensor twice and hold it on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. Reset will wipe all previous settings and pairings, so it will be necessary to pair your unit with your devices again. Lastly, try to connect the earbuds to a different device to determine if the issue lies with the earbuds or the initial device you paired them with. If you need more help, please contact us our customer support.

disappointing "ear lock" design
My wife bought these for me knowing I was looking for something to use while running or lifting weights that wouldn't come loose. I dont like the bulky headsets, and these airbuds are positioned as a wireless. option that "locks in" to your ear for stability. Unfortunately I have found that any kind of movement just rattles them loose. I am frequently picking them up off the gym floor or from the street when on a run. Any little tilt of the head causes them to come out of position. Maybe it is the shape or size of my ears but I've tried switching out the 3 different sized rubber pads and it never made any difference. Just fluff. They are more of a distraction than anything, as I am constantly readjusting them or trying to prevent them from falling out in the middle of a set. Even today all I did was a brisk walk and they need so much attention. I'm fed up. Pretty disappointing, as I do otherwise respect the brand for sound quality and durability. The sound quality is fine but as far as functionality and practicality for an athletic user, these are a no-go.

Thanks for sharing your feedback on our JBL Endurance Race 2 TWS. You can create a tight seal by inserting the eartip at a slight downward angle, gently twisting the earbud to match the shape of your ear, and continuing to twist until it feels secure. Try this with each of the included eartip sizes to find the best fit. After a few attempts, the process becomes quick and easy each time you put them on. We'll also make sure to share your feedback with the appropriate team. If you need more help with your unit, please contact our customer support via our official website or toll-free hotline.

Do not recommend
I bought these headphones a couple months ago and while the sound quality is great and they stay in my ears for even the hard workouts the DO NOT shut off and stay off. They say "power off" when i turn them off and then the second they are back in the case they turn right back on. I cannot even walk past my gym bag they stay in without them connecting to my phone this causes great annoyance especially when on phone calls. The fact that they dont turn off basically ever also means the battery does not stay charged at all. It is ridiculous. I would not recommend this model and I regret purchasing this model myself. I have had other JBL brand headphones and they do not have this issue. Go with a different model.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It appears the earbuds may be losing contact with the charging pins, causing them to turn on while inside the case. We recommend cleaning the charging pins and contact points with a cotton swab and a small amount of rubbing alcohol to remove any dirt or debris. If the issue persists after troubleshooting, please contact us directly to file a warranty claim here: https://support.jbl.com/us/en/#contact

good sound quality, terrible noise cancelling
Got these a couple months ago. The sound quality is great, they fit comfortably, and they last an incredibly long time. However, the noise cancelling is terrible. it crisps up outside noise, and sometimes makes it louder to the point it hurts my ears even if Ambient Aware isn’t active. I can still hear through the noise cancelling really clearly, but i’m unsure if I just got a faulty pair.

We appreciate your feedback with our JBL Endurance Race 2. Please ensure you have an airtight seal by angling the earbud downward and gently twisting it into place. We also recommend trying all the included ear tip sizes to find the best fit, as achieving a proper seal significantly improves noise cancellation. Additionally, it is not normal for outside noise to become louder when Ambient Aware is turned off. Please try performing a factory reset. Take both earbuds out. Make sure that they are not connected to any Bluetooth devices. Press either the left or right earbud two (2) times, then hold it on the third tap for 5 seconds. Once done, put both earbuds back inside the charging case for 10 seconds while the lid is closed, and try pairing them again with your device to see if it fixes the issue. Worst earbuds ever!
My worst earbuds ever. The overall volume is so low that I have to put the volume to max so it will reach the same volume as my previous ones. On top of that despite being IP68 rated after taking a shower in them the right side got permanently even quieter. Now the only way to reach understandable volume is by a third-party volume booster. The fin which meant to be for locking the buds in your ears is also a joke. It might have worked with a different design, but because the buds are so big and heavy it's so imbalanced no amount of fin would make them stay in if you just do any exercise. It definitely wasn't designed for sports. Additionally, I don't know what's going on with the connection, but there's also a consistent distortion during calls, often full silence.

Thank you for your feedback. Our JBL Endurance Race 2 earbuds come with three sizes of ear tips and one enhancer to help you achieve a comfortable fit. Please select the size that best suits you. To achieve the best seal and secure fit, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal. Regarding the connection and sound we would like to work with you directly to address and know more about the issues you're experiencing with your JBL Endurance Race 2. Great update
This is my third set of this type of headphones and each new pair gets better. These stay in my ear solidly while running and swimming. These ambient and voice modes are perfect for racing-I can hear both my music and what’s happening around me. For treadmill sessions or cross training, I have put on the noise canceling feature and turn up the volume-the sound is great. I do wish they lasted longer, I end up buying one pair every years or so because they stop charging.

Worst buds I've ever had
These are by far the worst headphones I have ever used in 15 years. Absolute trash and Bose should be ashamed to have thier logo on these. Lets start with the abysmal sound quality: whatever "water proofing" went into these ear buds made them sound hollow and limits the volume. While we're on the volume, it doesn't actually get louder for the last 3-4 clicks of your volume meter on your phone. Just shows you that the volume went up, but doesn't get any louder. The buds just disconnect randomly and for no reason. Doesn't matter if you have the latest firmware, or good connection; sometimes one or both buds just decides to reset itself- sometimes multiple times in one song! The app that allows you change settings and audio quality is a joke. Even tuning the sound exactly how you like it on any other EQ doesn't match the sound of thier app's attempt at an EQ for a trash ear bud. Do not buy this product. I was a big Bose fan, but not after these. They're happy to shill poor quality products and hope they can get by on the reputation they had.

Thanks for your feedback. We're always looking for ways to improve. For our JBL Endurance Race 2 TWS, typically, the two earpieces should connect without any problems. However, wireless interference can sometimes disrupt their connection. To manually pair the earpieces and see if this resolves the issue, begin by forgetting or unpairing the headphones on your device. Then, manually pair the earpieces by placing both earbuds inside the charging case. Pair the headphones with your device again to check if this solves the problem. If not, proceed to reset the earpieces and then manually re-pair them. A reset can often resolve issues, similar to how restarting a computer or phone can solve many problems. Please note that resetting will erase all previous settings and pairings, so you will need to pair your unit with your devices again. To reset, remove both earbuds from the charging case, tap each earbud twice, then tap and hold for 5 seconds. After resetting, manually pair the earpieces together again by following the initial steps because the reset process does not automatically pair them; it only clears previous settings and resets the internal processor. Finally, pair the earbuds with your source device. If the issue still persists, please contact our customer support.

These headphones SUCK.
These looked great on paper, but I honestly have nothing good to say about these. Despite the “ear lock technology” garbage, if anything touches these, they will come out of your ears. If anything sweaty touches them, they’ll pause/turn on voice command/ switch song. They are CONSTANTLY on and trying to connect from the charging case, thereby draining the charger stupidly fast. And worst of all, they sound like trash. DO NOT BUY THESE.

Thank you for your feedback on our JBL Endurance Race 2. To avoid this, angle the eartip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal. Gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear. Then, continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal to achieve the best seal and secure fit. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.

Great quality for the value of the product.
bought my pair about a month ago wasn't expecting too much out of them I was hoping they'd at least compete with my raycons I had bought and lost previously. These little guys exceeded my expectations probably better than raycons now that raycons were pretty good for the price point entry.

They’re okay.
They’re good, but I’m certainly not overly impressed. The sound quality is okay, but not amazing. Issues with it randomly connecting while it’s in the case, and issues with the light on the chargingu case not turning off, and the manual that it provides is completely useless for any kind of troubleshooting. They’re not awful, but I’d recommend looking elsewhere. 2.5 stars.

Insane Battery Life
I wanted to wait until I'd had and used this product for a while before posting a review. I have been blown away. Granted, I'm not using these earbuds for their intended purpose. I know these are marketed for exercise, but this was the only JBL earbud product I could find with the wings for a secure fit. I use these when sitting stationary, or moving around the house, and they stay secure in my ears. I was expecting lower sound quality in comparison to my earbuds from a different brand, but there has been no noticeable difference. Best of all, the battery life is incredible. I charged the case the day I received them, and there has been enough charge to last almost a month. I use one or both earbuds for several hours almost every day, and I haven't had to think about charging the case since I bought them. The controls were easy to adjust to. I wasn't expecting this product to work so well for my uses. I'm impressed.

Pretty disappointing overall.
I got these as a replacement for my Reflect Aero earbuds. They are heavier and the wings are smaller, so they do not lock in as well, and feel like they're about to fall out. The noise cancelling is barely OK (it was good with my Reflect Aeros at first but then slowly weakened to non-existence), so that was a disappointment. I just hope the batteries last because I've gone through 3 pairs of JBL running earbuds and each time they lasted a year or two before the batteries would no longer hold a charge. I was hoping for improvements with this new model, but am quite disappointed. Good thing I got them at a discount!
