Struggles with small batches and motor overheats
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had alot of hopes for this mixer. The attatchments work, but are not secure and wiggle slightly. The large bowl is great for large batches but for anything less than 4 cups, the wisk attatchment does not break the surface of whatever I have in the bowl. But if I need anything wisked like butter or meringe, If i have less than 10 cups it doesn't work. Since I bought this mixer In March, I have used it only three times and each time it makes a smell like smoke (not like its about to cause a fire, but it is the same smell you get when an appliance is being overworked. However it was only being used for cake batter which is runny and should not have been a problem for the price i paid.

target uses third party stores. and apparently the stores they use don't know what to do when they don't have something in stock. wasted a week. also targets customer service is a joke

I was very impressed with my new mixer. I orignally had one for over 40 years and my daughter thought mom it's time for a new one. Since this was refurbished I was not sure of the condition it would be and totally my surprised looked brand new. I love it and totally recommend.

Doesn’t Work
I just received my lift bowl mixer today and it doesn’t work. I put stuff in it to mix and everything, but I was so sad and disheartened when I plugged it in and turned it on but nothing happened. I would have thought that buying refurbished from the actual company that makes them would mean that I would receive a working mixer, but guess not. I was so excited to use my new mixer and then so upset when it wouldn’t even turn on.

So far so good,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgrades from an older Artisan mixer because I wanted the spiral dough hook. This model seems more powerful but a little louder than I expected and still runs a bit warm with longer mixes. Nice performance for batters and cookie dough and fine for breads, though haven’t pushed much more than 500g flour recipes. The grey attachments seem lightweight and I may replace with stainless if they don’t hold up.
