  • A: Dear Amanda. We are not exactly sure what you are refering too. We only provide screws to mount the brackets for the rod set. The finials are attached to the rod when you purchase the product. The finial are a screw-in design and therefore can be removed, but this screw is fixed to finial itself.

    Look carefully at the rods to make certain they are problem free

    Check the finials before you buy. Out of four of these rods, two had defects in the finials- either bent screws or screws that were detached from the rod.

    Defective

    I've ordered these curtain rods years ago in the past and had no issues. The new one I received is defective where the ball is supposed to screw into the end. It just won't go onto the screw at all, whatsoever. Now I have to try to dig the package out of the trash so I can return this since I assume they won't take it without the plastic packaging with the cardboard at the top. I wouldn't have thrown it out if I knew there would be an issue, I'm not sure what went wrong with manufacturing here.
