The stand mixer's planetary mixing action rotates the beaters around the sides of the included 4 quart stainless steel bowl so you don't have to scrape the sides. It has the same rotating mixing action as the higher-priced brands. The mixer performs better than two-beater stand mixers and features the tilt-back head design for easy access to the bowl to add ingredients. The tilting action also makes it easy to quickly change attachments. The stand mixer comes with the 4 quart stainless steel bowl with handles, splash guard, dough hook, whisk and flat beater that are all dishwasher safe. It's easy you use and to clean. The only downside, it's a little loud on vibrations when running at higher speeds. Recommended for beginners and/or on a budget. While still with great features.

I love My Early Christmas Gift
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always wanted a stand mixer, but could not afford one and was gifted this early just in time for Christmas baking. Powered right through mixing cookies, pie crusts, and bread dough. Especially like the splatter guard to keep ingredients in the bowl while also allowing additional ingredients to be added during mixer operation without having to stop and tilt-up the head to access the bowl. The dual handled bowl allows a better grip for carrying when full given the rheumatoid arthritis in my hands.

Beats Hand-Held Mixer Any Day!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mixer! And I would like to thank Hamilton Beach for allowing me to test their product as an Ambassador! When I unpacked the Hamilton Beach Stand Mixer, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the parts and attachments, which include a flat beater, dough hook, and whisk. Also included was a splatter shield, which can come in very handy and a booklet with user friendly instructions and bonus recipes. For my first baking project, I chose to make Homemade Peanut Butter Dog Treats for our two dogs. The recipe calls for only four ingredients and makes a very thick dough. I used the flat beater to mix the ingredients together and then switched to the dough hook, which helped with the kneading process - so much better than using my hands! This mixer has 7 speeds and is much more versatile than my hand-held mixer. Clean-up was a breeze. Now comes the hard part - deciding which recipe to make next. Maybe the Sour Cream Coffee Cake or the Simple Yeast Rolls, which are included in the booklet. My final comment: I am very happy with the Hamilton Beach 7 Speed Stand Mixer and can't wait to move on to my next baking project!

Powerful Mixer!

First was cookies using the mixing paddle. Then Grandma's Secret Wheat Bread recipe. Then The hardest test of all Divinity! This machine was amazing.

Multitasking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this about a week ago and have had fun doing different things with it. Made Brownies, muffins, biscuits and Mashed Potatoes. While they were mixing and mashing I was able to get pans ready and make gravy. Can't wait till Christmas morning to make the whip cream for the Fruit Salad that I make.
