Q: Is there different packaging for the 190 size? The one I have says “ultra downy free & gentle” on the packaging but the one I received today from my online order says “downy soft free & gentle for sensitive skin”. Are these both the same formula?

  • A: I have found this happens when the product is exposed to very cold temperatures. Either move the bottle to somewhere warmer or, as was explained earlier, add a bit of warm water to it and shake well.

There is currently no set standard for when a company can claim that their products have not been tested on animals. Box torn and cap busted

When the shipment arrived the box was torn and this bottle cap was smashed. There was spillage all over the inside of the box and all the other bottles. Loads of cleanup and quite a bit of waste.

I love this to soften my laundry. I have a baby and don’t like harsh chemicals so this is perfect. I also have a skin condition that is easily bothered and this does not affect it at all. I love this fabric softener and always go back to it. I will continue to use it in the future as well.

Refreshing to have a clean product

Using this has been made me happy to do sheets and towels again. After my daughter’s eczema flared I stopped using anything scented and I missed my softeners but this has kept our linens soft and fresh without flaring her skin.

I have bought twice in the last 4 months and it’s terrible. It’s real thick like pancake mix slow running out of bottleOnce put in washer it doesn’t even dissolve In fabric dispenser, still clumpy . We appreciate you saying you never had a problem with it before, but this is definitely not the type of experience we want you to go through. It sounds like your Downy Free & Gentle may have become thick due to exposure to extreme temperature - normally linked to store's storage method, either hot or cold. This can happen when the product is stored in conditions that are not ideal (it also happens if the product is past the shelf life.) Here are some key points to consider: - Thick Consistency: Liquid laundry detergents, including fabric softeners, can become thicker if they are exposed to extreme temperatures. However, it is still safe to use the product. - Returning to Normal: The product should return to its normal consistency when it reaches room temperature. - Storage Recommendations: For best results, it is recommended to store detergents in a cool, dry place and to use them within 18 months of production. If the product does not return to normal consistency after being at room temperature, it may be best to discontinue use.
