The swing up function is easier to use than the old version and the bowl locking mechanism is very secure. Glad we have another one for when my wife and daughters do holiday baking.

It was top quality. Sturdy and dependable. Well now we bought this one. The quality a lot less . Not as strong . Motor not as strong. All parts are less sturdy. It was a disappointment for use. So sorry my first one quit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mixer a month ago to replace my older Kitchenaid stand mixer. It is my third Kitchenaid stand mixer. It is much lower quality than the older versions. The beaters are not as heavy and the splash cover is ackward and hard to handle.

I've made all the suggested adjustments to the both top and bottom screws but it still bounced because of the torque of kneading the does she makes. Unsure if that's all I can do but she still loves it. Sorry I haven't taken a video of it doing this while operating.

I bought this mixer just over 1 year ago. It was a bought to replace the one we received for our wedding 15 years later. The mixer worked fine e for one month. Then the motor went. Kitchen Aid was quick to send a replacement. The replacement worked for about a year and the motor has gone out again. These mixers aren't built like they were 15 years ago. In my opinion they are beautiful, expensive, paperweights. Better off looking at other brands.

So far, it has flawlessly mixed everything I have put into it, including chunky chocolate cookies, without issue. Plus, I love the light blue colour! I live alone, but commonly prepare desserts for 5-8 people, and this mixer manages it all.

I spoke with Martin at customer service and sent a video to him . The team reviewed the video and sent a replacement mixer. The replacement works great, but I’m a bit cautious if it this one may break. Hopefully it was just a rare oddity. Overall it’s great and the kids love making homemade pasta with it.
