An advanced retinaldehyde gel that supports skin renewal and firmness while maintaining the skin barrier.     Prequel retinol renew

    I like the product but the pump quit working before I was even used half of it! I have pumped it 50 plus times a day and nothing needs to be in a different container.

    Staining or no staining I still love it.

    I love love love this product, even though it is staining my white sheets. I will not buy any more white sheets because of this issue because it’s worth it. I had the same problem with Naturium retinol lotion, so I quit using it and thought I would try Prequel’s. My suggestion is to buy some darker sheets.

    Color transfer a problem

    The product seems fine but I had to discontinue use after a week because it was staining my pillowcases at night. No matter how early I put it on before bed there was transfer, and as the product has a yellow tinge that's a real issue with my white sheets. The staining also did not come out in the wash. I really wanted to love this because I love so many Prequel products, but honestly I'm a little upset. Unluckily enough, my sheets were brand new when I tried the cream and now I need to replace the pillow cases. A clear warning should be listed on the website and on the packaging about the potential for color transfer.

    Very nice texture and easy on my skin.

    I use the 1% version on my chest and neck, as they are too sensitive for my prescription retinoid. So far, my skin has tolerated it well. I cannot say that the lines have softened (I'm 60) but the area is well moisturized and I hope over time the retinal will do its thing.

    Elegant formula, no irritation

    I use prescription Tretinoin for my face but I picked this up to have a less intense option for my neck. I haven't felt any irritation at all with this product, and because it's Prequel, I trust the efficacy of the formula absolutely. It will take some weeks/months to see major results, but so far I love it and I'll be able to be consistent with it. Another hit from Prequel. :)

    I cannot say enough good things about this product! It truly has changed my skin in so many positive ways. I have had no irritation & use the sandwich method when applying. It feels so light going on & I love the packaging. It is my absolute favorite product right now. I use this in the evenings & the Vitamin C in the mornings & my face has NEVER looked better. I use to HATE my skin on my face, but now I look forward to my routines & putting on makeup!

    I’ve been using this retinal product for a while, and I’m really impressed. It doesn’t cause any irritation at all, even on my sensitive skin, and it works really well. My skin looks smoother and more refined over time, and I can clearly see the improvement. Gentle but effective—exactly what I needed in a retinal treatment.

    Love this!

    I was using tretinoin but my skin has been becoming more dry and sensitive and the tret was just too much. I was wanting to keep a retinol in my routine and came across this. I have been using it every night with no irritation. Others have said it stains their pillowcase orange- I haven’t had this issue. You only need one pump for your whole face, I’m guessing they’re using way too much and it’s not fully absorbing into the skin. I’ve already seen improvement in my skin in about one month of use.

    On my second tube, packaging is important

    Works great!

    I have very super sensitive skin. I'm allergic to everything all of the sudden. I can't use any type of products with "active" ingredients. Even things I've used for years. I saw where other sensitive skin people were able to use this product using the sandwich method without irritation. I had to give it a try. It works for me too. I haven't used it long enough to see results yet, but I will buy this again.

    I have had some challenges with retinaldehyde and skin irritation. I’ve used a few different brands but I recently purchased this one by Prequel. I love it! Not irritating, I can use this two nights in a row, I still skip the third night if I do that. I go for using this 5 nights a week but you can work your way up to every night or just a few nights weekly if you’re very sensitive. Those complaining about the yellow tint don’t seem to understand that is the natural color of the product. Let it dry on your skin before going to bed.

    PLEASE DONT CHANGE THIS FORMULA! i have very sensitive skin but i’ve been using this product for a month now with NO irritation. i wake up with this nice brightness/glow to my skin and i look forward to the nights i get to use it. if you’re very sensitive like me but want to be on the retinoid train with everyone, give this a try.

    Truly incredible, even for sensitive skin!

    First time ever using a retinal. I love the silky texture, and I’ve been loving using it with the half and half moisturizer. I’m eager to see results and will definitely continue using.
