The blend of ingredients hide the actual chondroitin dose. Research suggests 1.2 grams of chondroitin per day, which at first glance this product delivers... but look closer and you'll see it has 1.2 grams total of a combined bunch of ingredients, displacing the chondroitin dose. Given the precise 1.2 gram dose of this blend (matching the research... but not really) I am positive this in intentional deception. Chondroitin is expensive, Target wants to mislead you to pad their margin. On the bright side, this contains the sulfate form of glucosamine, which has better clinical outcomes than the hydrochloride form. This product would be perfect if it actually had 1.2 grams of chondroitin. I would buy a pallet.

I had an argument with a friend about the effectiveness of vitamins and supplements. He said they're basically scam placebos, and I said I'd rather err on the side of caution that they do *something* - however small - than not take them at all. But here's how I know these work: I had a twinge in my left elbow from doing repeated motions at work that wouldn't go away. Unrelated, I broke my ankle and had to be home from work, and I thought my elbow at least would feel better after giving it a break from the physical demands of my job. After 3 months, there was still no difference at all. Then I started taking these supplements thinking I had nothing to lose, and after only a few days, I could already tell a difference. And it wasn't just psychosomatic: I even forgot I was taking them as they got integrated into my rotation of other vitamins which I just take almost from muscle memory at this point. I simply noticed one day I wasn't experiencing pain in my elbow anymore and had to remind myself why! So, some vitamins may just be a snake oil cash grab, but at least for these, I'm a believer!

These used to be great but now they’ve changed the flavor and it’s a struggle to get them down. Plus now it’s 3 instead of 2 c

I hated the fact Target messed with the formula and pills. They caused stomach upset with food and I can't take them. I wish they would have left the old formula alone

This glucosamine chondroitin comes in a bottle that is easy to open. The pill was easy to swallow. They are gluten and lactose free, but contain shellfish. Per the instructions, you have to take three pills to get the advertised dosage.

It says double strength, but I compared it to the same product that I use from another store (store brand) and it's the same dosage per pill. Up&up's serving size is 3 tablets while the other one is 2. So, if you take 3 tablets, it's about 1.5x the strength. I would rather only take two tablets since they are larger and I probably don't need all 3 for my size.

This is a nice big bottle of Joint Care supplements! My husband enjoys going to the gym and working out almost everyday. These supplements help keep his joints in good shape and make sure he isn’t causing harm to his body.

The directions recommend taking this supplement three times per day. I do not know if I would remember to take them that often. The size of the pill is standard and the pills are east to swallow. A good option for better feeling joints.

The recent product change is not appreciated. The pills now smell and taste like fish. Not at all pleasant in the morning. Why the change?

Good product but it’s always hard to find on the shelf

I have been using this product for several years, but the new version has smaller pills and they have a weird taste, I won't be buying them again. The old version had larger pills, but a least they didn't taste nasty.

I broke the pills in half because they were too big to swallow easily. I got a half pill stuck in my throat— no kidding!!!!! I dislodged it by drinking a LOT of water!! I will definitely find another brand because I have never had that happen before!! Kind of scary!!

Easy to take and affordable, no weird smell or taste. Hard to say if they really work, but I feel like there is little risk to them- either they are helping strengthen my joints and I’ll thank myself in 30 years, or they aren’t doing much and my joints continue to age as normal. Either way at least I tried!
