stops working!
stops working after a while and won't poke holes in the pods! so all you get is hot light brown water! I've descaled with vinegar and also descaler solution and nothing works. don't buy it!! reddit has the same complaints!

Good but unreliable.
When it works, it's works just fine. Unfortunately after six months it has started randomly resetting while brewing ( acts like a power outage). No other appliances affected so I know it's the Ninja. Several messages to the service email have gone unanswered.

This thing is garbage. Always says it’s needs to be cleaned. What a waste of water to clean it every other day. Does not stay hot. Now I have error code there is a blockage in the water reservoir when I literally JUST CLEANED IT. Never getting a Ninja coffee maker again

waste of money
I've had 2 of this same coffee maker , and it's still broke and malfunctioned. They just don't make coffee machines like they used to. The 1st was defective and leaked all over my counter, Twice. It turned out that the waterline had tears in it. The 2nd replacement espresso side maker broke one year after use. On both machines the hot plate that holds the coffee pot does not work and only very very rarely turns on. At this point, it's just best to buy a single serve coffee machine. Because that's how I use this broken coffee maker, until I find a replacement. And to be honest, the Frother is just useless. It doesn't even get hot. You have to warm up the milk and hope it stays hot by the time you use the frother. pointless! These Ninja products have all been breaking in a short period of time. I will be going with a different brand from now on.

Poor quality
Very disappointed. Used almost every day. I bought this unit December of 24 for Christmas. After about a month it started leaking out of the bottom of the machine . They did replace under warranty. Have had it over a year now and the puncture mechanism is not working. Will only puncture the bottom of the pods. Can't find replacement parts for it. For the money wish it would have lasted longer than a year.

Waffle plate on espresso side faulty
I have had my machine for a little over a year. The brew side works fine but three months ago my espresso pod side stopped working properly. The waffle part no longer makes any marks on the top and it just produces steamed water and spills all over my counter. I can manually pierce the top but it doesn’t work as well. I’m so disappointed. Unfortunately now I see lots of reviews and posts from people having the same issue with no support from Ninja.

Not puncturing espresso pods!
Same issue as a lot of other one star reviews. Waffle plate fell out and it's not longer puncturing pods. Support page is useless.

Not for me.
The water/coffee never gets hot enough. The "fresh" coffee is like drinking coffee that has been sitting out for 15 minutes. Other than that I would have loved the options for different coffees from one machine.

Do Not Buy
Don’t buy this. Mine only lasted about 1 year, conveniently right after the warranty. It’s a decent product that breaks on one side making it useless. A scam and I would not recommend whatsoever.

Once Great, Now Not So Much
This has been the best of both worlds for a while but now the drip stop doesn’t work and my coffee maker just randomly flooded and spilled all over me!! It happened multiple times and I’m disappointed bc this machine was the best in my opinion.

Just Meh!
I bought this in November, the espresso side started acting up. Contacted them, finally got it figured out and after I cut the cord, they sent me a new one. This one isn't much better, when I close the coffee side it leaks.

Great till is wasnt...
Had for almost two year and now. It was great for the majority of it. It starting beeping and flashing the light in the middle of the night. Saying it needs to be cleaned. We keep cleaning it and it keeps on doing that. Also the part where the coffee grinds goes in, messes up and overfills and spills out everywhere

Would not recommend
Do not purchase this item if you plan on making espresso for more than 1 year. The espresso function malfunctioned after 1 year of using it and past its warranty so they only offered 30% off. Why repurchase if it is just going to break again??Upon further research and looking at reviews, this is a VERY common issue. It appears Ninja has not been taking their feedback seriously and is not fixing this issue for this particular model. It was good while it lasted but not worth the money since it won’t last long!

Lasted just over one year. The unit can no longer puncture the nespresso pods so it can’t make espresso any longer. Company offered 30% off only. Can not be serviced. I will never buy another Ninja. A horrible ripoff unit

Great when it worked
We used ours daily, until we couldn’t. About 13 months of use. Now it won’t power on. Zero lights. Known working outlet, nada. My guess is some sort of thermal fuse was tripped making it completely inoperable. Pretty sweet how the warranty lasts a year and not long after that year the entire thing is kaput, unfixable, and now a paperweight on my kitchen counter. Loved it while it worked but won’t buy again. If it’s failing for no reason at this point in time, it’s by design.

Disappointed
Didn’t even last a year, we get an error message and have to reset the clock every time to get it to work now. So disappointing, we love Ninja products and have a bunch of them. Not this one though.
