My hair is very curly and can be so dry so I had great expectations for this shampoo and was not disappointed. Before using the product I had my hair in a protective style so it was dry and tangled. I washed my hair and I could immediately tell the difference in my hair compared to other shampoos. This ultra moisture shampoo lathered really well, smelled great, and provided my hair with so much moisture. I typically don’t detangle with shampoo in my hair but I tried it and my brush glided through without much snagging or pulling. I’m really happy I received this because for a while I stopped using Cantu but I may pick this up every so often. The first photo is the day I washed my hair and used all the products I was sent and the second photo is 2 days later.

My locs have been colored twice, on two separate occasions. It's a combo of red and a cinnamon shade. So moisture and color care are front and center for me. After my initial use, I noticed how gentle the shampoo feels. Some products leave my hair parched, especially with color-treated hair, but this one didn't. It cleanses really well without leaving that frazzled feel. My hair felt lovely after rinsing, something that isn't always achievable for me. I also paid attention to how my color held up after washing. The hue remained vibrant and didn't appear faded. That's a big win for me.
