Not for floors
Had no suction power with floor attachment. Basically just a handheld vacuum on a stick.

This vacuum, with its brush roll and easy empty / wash dirt cup, it THE BEST smaller vacuum I have ever owned. I buy this vac for all my tenants, also. Lightweight vac that does more than big vacs

Good for small apartments
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this once to twice a week. In between I use my Fuller Brush electrostatic sweeper. For its size this little devil picks up more dirt and debris than a sweeper alone. As with the electrostatic sweeper, I use this vacuum on both bare floors and carpeting. Now I'm able to keep up with dog hairs and my own long hairs all over the floors. A hood buy and lightweight too

Cute light stick vac
Just what my 650 sq ft apt needs! Picks up dirt, debris, and the cord is super long. Tested it on linoleum, short carpet, area rug, and my yoga mat that was unrolled. Not super powerful but does a great job of tidying my home.

Love this vacuum for quick pick up of pet hair. It is very light weight and easy to use every day. It picks up large amounts of pet hair with strong motor for such a small vacuum. I could only give 4 stare because the vacuum is very loud & has a high pitched squeal noise. Other than the squeal noise I love this vaxuum.

Needs suction
No problems except for suction. It needs more when the brush unit is on the vacuum. It is OK for minor jobs.

Hi Philly-Gino, Here are some helpful tips to improve the suction: check to see if the filter or nozzle is clogged. Turn off the unit and disconnect the nozzle to remove the debris. Also check the hose for any built up debris, and use the handle of a broom to remove. After checking the hose, please be sure to securely connect the hose to your vacuum. We also recommend checking the filter by removing it from your vacuum and tapping out any built up dirt/debris that could be resting on it. Rinse the filter with water until the water runs clear and allow a dry time of 24-36 hours. - OR - We recommend checking to see if your filter is clogged. Turn off the unit and disconnect the nozzle to remove any debris. While you have the filter removed rinse it with water until the water runs clear, allow dry time (24-36 hours). If the listed troubleshoot does not correct the issue, please contact our Dirt Devil Support Team at 800.321.1134 with reference to this review and model number for additional assistance. Thank you! Great little vac
I bought this to replace a bulky canister vac that was being used in a smaller area. Great suction and like the optional brush roller if you need it. My only con is the vac head does not stay up when the vac is picked up. It flops down.

Super Machine
This vacuum has exceeded my expectations. It picks up everything and I am constantly amazed at how much the filter shows evrytime I use it. We have tile floors with area rugs. Works so we'll on both. Could not be more pleased. The bonus is that is is so lightweight that is actually fun to use. I am actually considering getting one for each of my foyr married children.

Lightweight vacuum
This is a great little quick picker upper. I needed something that wasn't too heavy and that was easy to store. The price was right and it's lightweight and easy to assemble. I have a cat that sheds everywhere so I bought this because it works well when it comes to controlling pet hair

Good for the price
Lots of stairs in my townhome so wanted someone super light weight for those easy cleanups. This was my choice. Its suction power is fair but great for the price. It though does the basic needs when I don't feel like pulling my actual upright vacuum out.

Suction Can be Better.
I bought this vacuum for my stairs because my big vacuum is too heavy to take up and down. At the first use, it worked like a champ. But over time it started losing its suction. I'd have to go over it a million times just to pick up dirt. Even after cleaning the vacuum out, It doesn't get the crevices in the stairs.

Excellent design.
Wife and I are in our 80's and live in 2 Bedroom 2 Bath condo with tile and laminate floors throughout including outdoor balcony . NO pets. It replaces 10 year used stick vac( one piece). Light weight and excellent new features particularly detachable hand held vacuum cleaner This is an ideal and very practical vacuum cleaner for us. Extremely well engineered! Highly recommended. Cudos to Dirt Devil!

Very impressed.
Just received today. Put together & tried it out. Works well & up to my expectations. Wanted to reach under my day bed & under my dresser which it does. Light weight & easy to handle. Will explore emptying filter later when it needs to be done. Have a Dirt Devil rechargeable model which is great that's why i purchased this one to do the rugs & floors. The only problem I have is the the handle has a space when I put it together.. Don't know if i need a new handle? How long will this last the way it is?

The brush roll will not stay down! It keeps lifting up off the floor. So aggravating!
