My wife loves it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works as well as other owners have said. My wife has wanted one for years and I could finally get her one. She's been baking every other day.

I got a lemon but still think the brand is good
I think I got a lemon. KitchenAid is a great brand. Had the same stand mixer for 28 years that finally went. Just ordered this one /got it. Put together and the motor seized. Changed attachments and tried again. Seized again. (With nothing in it... Straight out of the box). The return at target was very easy. I ended up getting a different model of a KitchenAid... Still think it's a good brand.

Bowl does not stay attached to the unit. It jumps around an I have to strong arm it. I’ve used this mixer probably 10 times in 7 months and it is honestly a piece of crap. I’ve tried to reach out to Kitchenaid 4 times in the last 2 months and have not gotten any reply. I had one of the originals and it was great. I’m so disappointed. Do not recommend any longer

Dough hook is peeling
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Good unit but the enamel or paint is already peeling off the dough hook. Not sure if it was a just a defective one but it is always on properly and doesn't touch the bowl so not sure why this is happening. The 4.5 qt is just a tad small. I wish the standard size or starting size for the price we pay started at 5 qt as the standard.

Baking made easy.
I got this as a gift for christmas as I had been asking my parents for one for months. I recently took an interest in baking but found that most recipes called for a stand mixer or otherwise were too much work without one, so I did my research by asking around on online forums, talking with people and comparing brands and landed on KitchenAid being the best overall bet, with great quality products that basically last for life. This was a game changer, having my stand mixer has made baking a breeze, from making classic chocolate chip cookies to complex recipes I wouldn’t have dared to try otherwise. This product was more than a kitchen appliance, but an opportunity to explore the wonderful and endless possibilities found within my own kitchen.

Mixes so well!
My husband got me this mixer for Christmas since I mentioned if he'd like me to make homemade bread that I would need a mixer to do so. Sure, enough it assisted me in making some delicious bread for a rookie like me :)

Does not disappoint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always wanted a KitchenAid mixer, but was thought it wasn’t an investment I really needed. I bought myself one to do my Christmas baking this past Christmas and wow does it live up to the hype! It’s a workhorse and I couldn’t believe the amount of time I saved when baking cookies, simply by not having to hold the mixer or scrape the bowl as often. One month in and I’ve used it at least a dozen times already. I’m sorry I didn’t buy one sooner, but I am so glad I finally did!

So far, so good!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've wanted a KitchenAid mixer for years and finally made it happen, not sure what took me so long because it made holiday baking a breeze. I debated between the 4.5-Quart and 5-Quart and ultimately went with the 4.5-Quart. I'm happy I did, it serves its purpose well.
