Neutrogena Hyro Boost Glow Primer + Serum is a serum to primer hybrid that I tried and enjoyed. You can wear it as a primer underneath makeup or alone for a natural glowy look. I tried both and found them both to be easy to do and flattering. The consistency is like a serum- watery and lightweight. It goes on both non greasy and non sticky. It’s moisturizing, hydrating, and you can create that dewy “glass skin” look that is so of the moment. In fact, it is an affordable alternative to glass skin products.

Because I am prone to acne, I have used matte primers, but no more! In my 40s my skin looks flaky and my makeup settles into lines no matter how light the makeup (any brand I try). I decided to try this and I am a super fan. I have been using it for two weeks and my skin is so smooth and glowy even with two different CC creams I use. I was worried that the serum texture would leave me greasy - not at all. It soaked in so quickly I had no dry time and applied CC cream almost immediately. I tried the Black Radiance Neutrogena Hydro Boost Glow Primer + Serum and really liked how it made my skin look right after applying. The packaging is sleek and easy to use, and the dropper works well, giving just the right amount without wasting product. The texture is lightweight and silky, spreading easily and leaving the skin with a fresh glow that works beautifully under makeup. It has no scent at all, which I really appreciate because it doesn’t interfere with any other products I’m using. Ingredients like hyaluronic acid are excellent for hydration, and I could feel my skin staying soft and plump throughout the day. As a primer, it definitely helps makeup apply smoother and look more radiant. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the glow can sometimes feel a little too dewy on my T zone, so I need to powder more than usual. Still, it’s a lovely product and I enjoy having it in my routine.
