  • Crystal-Clean Square Ice Cube: To form pure and crystal-clean square ice cubes, this ice-making machine uses the Nickle Brass compressor. And you can directly see the ice-making process from the transparent cover. In addition, you can increase and reduce the ice-making time (±6 mins top) to adjust the thickness of the ice cube.
  • Reservation Function & Auto Self-Cleaning: Press the ''Timer'' button for more than 5 seconds and enter the 20 mins of self-cleaning. Moreover, it also features a drainage hole to help fast empty the melting water. You can even reserve the ice making time, and an 8H delay is possible.
  • Safe Operation with LCD Control Panel: The control panel is easily understandable and has clear indicating icons on the LCD screen, especially ice full and water shortage. When the ice is full, the ice machine will stop to avoid excessive production. We also throw in a free ice scoop to move the ice cubes. And it makes sound less than 42 DB.

  • A: This only has insulation function and does not have freezing function. So ice cubes will melt if left inside, and the rate of melting is related to the ambient temperature and the water temperature added.

  • A: Yes, but you have to be extremely careful on what type of water bottle you get because of the neck of the water bottle. This icemaker takes a smaller neck than most water bottle dispensers so I would take the extender that comes with the icemaker with you when you go to get one.

  • A: I understand what you’re saying if the ice melts does it reuse the water to make more ice? Yes it does, but it does not have a freezer and typically the ice will melt within 30 minutes.

Buyer Beware

BUYER BEWARE! I bought this machine and it lasted for 58 days. The manufacturer only warranties their product for 30 days, which is completely unreasonable. They have completely refused to stand behind their product or do anything to help make this right. Please consider any other company for your small appliance needs.

Good for 1-2 years tops

Don't buy a Costway icemaker. They will breakdown within 2yrs. I bought one, and sure enough 2 years and 2 weeks old, and it broke down. Spend less and plan on replacing no matter the brand.

Great Used for over 3 years every few days Still works great

I got this as a birthday gift 3 years ago It's great & gets used every few days to make 4-6 galloon ziploc bags for the freezer ! The only complaint is the controls are hard to figure out & cleaning the freeze sections It should be removable to clean I''m in limestone country & the stuff just build up on them & the pump gets plugged where I got take the unit apart & clean all the sediment out the system ! There needs be a step by step instruction on how to go through the settings also ! And a diagram for disassembly to clean the war=ter tank & pump lines out !

Working 24 hours a day for 5 months now

I've had two other (bullet style) ice makers over the past couple of years. This Costway is far superior to any I've owned. Crystal clear square ice, and if I empty the hopper when full, it really does close to 40 pounds/day! Greatest convenience is inverting a gallon size bottled water in the top of the reservoir. With moderate use that lasts several days.

Great ice maker!

Delivered sooner than expected which was a plus!! The ice is crystal clear squared cubes! Makes ice in about 6-7 mins. Very quite machine can barely tell it’s on. I do want to point out that if you have the ice maker in a place where it’s hot for ex, garage, or outdoors, it will take longer to make ice. Other than that we are happy with it and would recommend.

Nicer than I expected.

This product is excellent! Ice is fast and clear. The ice does often come out as a sheet of cubes requiring some breaking up of the ice.

Elegant design and makes great ice

This ice maker provides ice very quickly and looks very elegant in our kitchen. It is simple to use and includes clear instructions. It was packed well and came out without any scratches. I like how quickly I can have ice for our guests snd now they all want one.

Easy to opI love it.

I love my ice maker machine. I had another one before but required to keep an eye all the time to put the ice away and put more water on it. Now there is no need for that. I can put a large water bottle and besides it produce more ice. I bought ice bags and store it at the fridge. When my wife or the kids need more ice they just grab it and I don't need to be there. Pretty easy.
