CURLSMITH Hair Bonding Oil - 2floz - Ulta Beauty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried so many hair oils to try break that crunch however they either don't work or make my hair greasy, whereas Curlsmith has done it again and made the perfect obsession in a bottle. Not only do my curls looks great and fresh but smell fantastic!!

I love this stuff! I am 56 and my curly hair has gotten dryer with age, and this products makes my hair feel soft, and less frizzy. I have finally embrace my natural hair color which is a salt and pepper mix. I do not like products for my curly hair that make it feel crunchy or look oily. I use a light curl gel on my hair that leaves a little cast and I use one pump of this product on the front and sides of my hair and one in the back and it breaks it up and leaves my hair soft and shinny. When I first started using it I used 2 pumps for the front t and 2 for the back and that made my hair feel a little oily. One is perfect for me! I have shoulder length hair for reference. I will always buy this product as long as they make it. Its a little pricey but its been almost 2 months and I still have a little under a half of a bottle left.

This oil is more liquidy than expected so its a little hard to distribute. Smells okay but a little chemical. My hair is quite fine so maybe this is suited to thicker hair. I was happy this did not make my hair oilier.

This is a lovely lightweight oil that smooths any strays and adds shine. Just one drop is enough for my fine wavy hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new Bonding Oil. It definitely smooths and seals all those pesky frizzy bits. I have long blonde wavy hair so I applied it quite liberally, otherwise I think it might have looked a bit greasy. Very happy and will buy again.

I mean, to be fair, I have been mixing this with a shine oil I got from the Dominican Republic... BUT, I was using that other oil months before, & I feel like my hair wasn't even remotely close to as shiny as it has been with this oil. I would assume, using it on its own would give the same results (but I'm trying to use up that Dominican oil). Really feelin this oil so far. I have short, fine 3b-c hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to think that all hair oils were the same. Put a little in my hair, the frizz gets control, but it can quickly make my hair feel gross. But not this guy. This guy leaves my hair with minimal frizz and doesn't leave it feeling over oiled and gross. To top it off, it smells amazing! I can use it several days in a row with no issues, just frizz free hair. I don't think I can ever go back to other hair oils.

My hair has been healthy and not dried out and frizzy since using this. I finished my bottle and re-ordered.

I love this product! my curls go from crunchy to soft and manageable.

You need this product!!! I have thick frizzy wavy+straight very hard to manage hair and styling was always an exausting experience. Im a busy person and have been looking for that ONE product i can slap on and be on the go with beautiful hair. This is that saving grace!!!! Its light and soft in the hair. Use a tiny amount in sections and life will come back in ur hair. I can curl and blowdry and straighten my hair and it actually obeys me and looks amazing 🤗

I bought a few peoducts and got the bonding oil as a sample and fell in love so bought the oil immediately after finishing the sample. My hair feels healthier, shinier and you only need one pump, even on long, thick curly hair, definitely worth the price compared to other oils like this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product, it has been great for breaking my gel cast without creating frizz and also when not using gel for managing frizz and dryness on my wavy hair. It leaves my hair so shiny and healthy-looking even if some frizz remains it looks so healthy you barely notice. Be careful not to use too much on fine wavy hair or it could weigh it down but I find you have to use quite a lot to get to that point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have fine, medium-density hair, and i have to use literally one or two small drops or my hair will be greasy. however, if i get the perfect amount, it's awesome. and if i use too much, it does penetrate by the next day (unlike silicone oils, which look great at first and then make my hair flat and gross the next day). i really like it for a pre-shampoo treatment!

I use this with curlsmith's hold me softly style balm on my straight hair and my daughter's wavy hair. I like the combination of both products along with the frizz control shampoo and conditioner. We've tried a lot with my daughter's hair and so far this is the best. There is a lovely scent to it but it is strong for my family, that's the only reason I have it four stars.

My hair doesn't like a lot of protein so I don't use it too often, maybe once a week, or it can get overloaded if I'm not careful. I like the smell of it, and it spread between my hair well. My hair feels soft and looks shiny after using it.

I absolutely love this stuff I use about 3 pumps total when I use it. one on each side and one in the back of my hair. this does the same stuff as the olaplex! I have think curly hair it's a yes from me!

As new to Curlsmith and Bonding Oil one word sums it up - Outstanding! My hair virtually sighed when I applied it felt fabulous.
