Q: what is the highest heat setting?

The surface temperature on all Sunbeam® resistance heating pads is a maximum of 135°F - 140°F. For most Sunbeam® heating pads, you can select a temperature from the following settings: Low: 110°F Medium: 138°F High: 160°F. Sunbeam® heating pads are engineered to never exceed 176°F the temperature set by Underwriters Laboratory (UL). We hope this helps. Have a good day!

Q: Does this heating pad have an automatic shut off? I'm looking for one that does NOT automatically shut off.

Most of our heating pads have a 2-hour auto shutoff, which is a built-in safety feature.
