Q: Tag line says "Reusable", but no directions on the package. How does this become reusable after the first use? Specs chart shows "Recyclable" as Sustainablity Claim, so not reusable?

Not worth it - will break

Used first as a cold pack, which was okay but didn't feel like it got cold enough, even after being in the freezer all night. First time trying to microwave (following directions on pack) to use for heat, it busted open and leaked gel.

Hands down! The all-time best!

icyness stays for a long time. soft, durable material and icing gel gets super cold. I prefer using a thin towel instead of the one in the package. Target only carries this and sometimes they change the design but I always track this one down and buy more. been using this for 10 years now. Nothin else has satisfied me like this one.

Broke in 3 uses

Used it 3 times before it exploded while sitting. I followed the instructions. Used it 3 times in the microwave. 4th time in 2 months I went to grab it, and noticed something had leaked all over it. Thought it was something nearby leaking onto it, but no. When I pulled the pack out of the sleeve, 3" of the seam were split on the edge and there were little gel beads and weird colored sticky liquid all over the place. Garbage.

I love the wrap it comes with for easy positioning! I have a weak ankle so i re-sprain it with some regularity. This ice pack is perfect for icing and elevation without contorting myself to keep the ice on the joint! The only thing that would make it better would be if the gel got less crystalline if kept in the freezer for more than a day. I just massage it out, but since it's the kind of thing you want ready to use ASAP and therefore keep it in the freezer, it would be nice.

Best icing pack for injuries

I've had two of these for years. I have used them countless times. Molds easy and allows for comfortable positioning. When I take it out of the freezer it is the perfect temperature for icing injuries. I don't use it for heat.

Exploded after a short time.

I have two; the one for cold is great. Unfortunately the one for hot didn’t last longer than a few months (using it maybe 2-3x month). I definitely can’t follow the heating instructions, it needs much less time, in increments. Accidentally followed the instructions and it exploded when I needed it for my pulled neck muscle. The pre-covid one I had lasted years!
