My only question it how do you open the top piece. I can see that it's supposed to open for cleaning but can't figure out how to open it. I'm afraid to pull on it in case I break it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased it last month and been using it for different purposes from chopping ingredients for chilli paste or grind some nuts using different setting and overall I'm impressed with the result. This is a chopper so don't expect the result to be the same like using a blender for much finer result. I think this operate and has the same function with the larger size of chopper, but I was looking for the smaller machine to frequently make my own chilli paste and this does the job. The only downside is the machine operate with wire which I'd personally prefer the wireless product. Still happy with the purchase.

If I need something chopped, or thoroughly mixed in - I go to my little buddy. My kids hate cutting onion and garlic and usually won't help me prep dinner but now they almost fight over who is in charge of chopping, it's quite funny. This little machine blitzed the carrot and onion in four seconds and why I have left it this long before buying myself one, is a puzzle. I would highly recommend this food chopper as it will make your soups a lot quicker to do, along with other recipes requiring a lot of vegetables.

I have bought inferior qualities over the years. Best choice I made was getting this one. So very quick and no struggle from the machine. Don’t put off getting. I really am enjoying. PS.
