Q: Issues with auto-off function. Did not stay on for pre-set 2 hours the 1st day, I adjusted it for 3.5 hours and it stayed on the 2nd day, then it turned off immediately after brewing the 3rd day. Is there a step I am missing or is this a faulty item?

Don't hit anything if the time is set where you want it........ Wait for numbers to dissappear. Then select brewing cycle........ Not my favorite but better then trying to return this thing.......

  • A: Same here. It's not you. Ours worked for a day or two, the warmer would cycle off and on very noticeably. I'm going to just try to enter the AutoOff setting each time before brewing and see if that works. In the book there is a single line in the back under troubleshooting. Problem: Coffee is not hot Cause: Keep warm mode has ended Solution: ------- Guess even they can figure it out. There is no mention of Keep Warm Mode, so it's interesting little glitch. The other fix is we use a thermos and pour it into that, keeps the coffee warm for a few hours that way. Good luck if you figure it out.

    Excellent Coffee !!! Purchase a good ground coffee (Van Houtte or After 8) and you have a fantastic way to start the day. The Braun machine makes the ideal perfect cup - at a fraction of the price any coffee store – machine pays for itself in a month or 2.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I definitely prefer an easy to program drip coffee and this hits all my needs perfectly. It has a good sized carafe pot which is a must. The programming is super easy to do dont need to be a tech savvy to figure it out. I appreciate that it comes with a filter basket already in it as well . Its not obnoxiously loud either when its running either and it makes a great cup of coffee !

    Fire hazard/buyer beware!

    Bought this almost two years ago and it was great until it almost burned our house down! We smelled something burning and found the coffee pot smoking and the heating element was bright red. The machine was not even on! So buyer beware. Prob unplug it when you’re not using it to be safe.

    Great coffee pot

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun coffee maker has been a new office favorite amongst my coworkers. I feel that it brews very quickly and makes enough coffee for my entire cohort. The flavor is also very strong and does not taste watered down at all. The plus about this machine is also that it has a timer to set up automatic brews. It feels a little bit bulky, but I think it’s not a problem is a bigger space.

The steel finish is very attractive and looks good in my kitchen. I previously had a smaller coffeemaker but this makes up to 14 cups which is perfect when I have family over. It was easy to operate and best of all it makes good coffee and keeps it hot. Looking forward to the iced coffee feature next! Good value for one appliance.

I love that you can make large quantities of both hot or cold coffee, I haven’t really seen the option for iced coffee outside of single cup coffee makers. It is quite tall, so it may be hard to fit in a certain kitchens, but it doesn’t take up too much counter space. Overall, it’s not too hard to clean, and I do love that you can set a timer to have a coffee ready for you every morning. Or just make a quick cup in the afternoon.

    Brews a good cup of coffee

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Braun Pro flavor coffee maker brews a good cup of coffee. I was a bit disappointed with some of the features beyond that. I timed the fast Brew function and versus the regular brew cycle, and for a 10-cup pot, fast brew took 10 minutes, and regular Brew took 12 minutes. I don't think that 2 minutes is really enough to make a difference in my morning routine. I was also disappointed that the iced coffee function, 1) requires 9 cups of ice, 2) still needs to be refrigerated afterwards. I would honestly make more sense to brew it without ice, and take that concentrated coffee, put it in the fridge, and add water or milk and ice later, like it's cold brew coffee. A smaller complaint, but I was also disappointed that the coffee maker uses a conic filter instead of a basket shaped one, but that's just because that is what I had in the house. But all of that aside, it's still brews a nice cup of coffee, which is the whole point of its existence. I personally will not trade in my old coffee maker for this one, but I also wouldn't tell anyone not to buy it.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a high quality coffee maker. Comes with a charcoal water filter and gold tone permanent filter and coffee measuring spoon. It's very functional, you can make 14 oz of coffee. This coffee maker has so many functions - clock, water hardness level, tone to signal when coffee is ready, auto on mood, auto off settings and some more. You can brew regular coffee or a bold one or even over the ice one, depending on what you like. Also there is a fast brewing option. It's easy to clean it, you can dishwasher the parts and also descale it as there is a clean indicator on the display to show when it is time to do it. Overall for the price you pay it is a very good coffee maker and I recommend it!

    Quality Coffee Maker

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the highest quality and well designed home coffee maker products I have ever experienced. It was easy to set up and use. I had to make a couple attempts at grinding whole beans with a burr grinder to get my perfect cup of bold tasting coffee. Now that this is dialed in, it makes a great tasting coffee. The bold and iced coffee feature are two of my favorite settings making this unit versatile and fun to use. My only suggestion for improving this product would be to make the cord a bit longer to accommodate kitchens with several appliances. It makes it convenient to have coffee ready in the morning. It also has a very large capacity so you can make as much or as little as you need. Aesthetically, it was a perfect match for my appliances and kitchen. The coffee tasted really good and the maker had options for iced coffee also, which is great for me since I prefer cold coffee year round. I do wish it came with a few samples of coffee to brew but that's not a huge deal. Overall, a really good option for those with convenient coffee needs like me!

Its brews fast, the coffee tastes rich, especially on the bold setting. I like having the over-I e option, because I enjoy drinking iced coffees in summer. Gen touchscreen is super easy to use and the machine keeps the coffee hot for hours, which is perfect for slow mornings or if we want more coffee. The stainless steel design looks sleek in the counter and the size is not too big for a 14 cups machine, even though I would’ve preferred smaller carafe, because we rarely have 14 people in the house. Overall, it’s a reliable and stylish coffee machine.
