I returned a couple of vacuum cleaners before deciding on this one. First off, this is not a high end vacuum cleaner so why ppl are expecting it to be i don't quite understand, but it does get the job done in my house as far as area rugs, carpet and upholstery which is Furthermore, I did not want a heavy vacuum cleaner. If you are looking to step it up a level from this vaccum cleaner, those vacuum cleaners are on the heavier side and more money. I also wanted a vacuum cleaner with a longer hose and certain attachments which unfortunately I found limited when it came to both things mentioned. This level of vacuum cleaner had the longest hose out there provided you use the handle attachment with it. I think I saw one other vaccum cleaner but it did not have a certain attachment I was looking for. Con, I wish the hose was a bit longer. Again, other vaccum cleaners in this range had a shorter hose reach. The vacuum cleaner vacuums quite well. I use it every day and have taken the filter out to wash it including the dust compartment after so many days of vacuuming. I used dish soap and water to clean the filter. I let the filter air dry overnight before placing it back in. Not recommend, but I have actually taken the plate off the undercarriage (roughly 5 screws in plate) to clean the clear cover. This was only worth mentioning because the vacuum cleaner parts did not break from my handling of it. If you are looking for a lighter weight vaccum cleaner along with a longer hose this vaccum may be for you. Keep in mind,mregardless of the hose being longer you may still get vacuum tip over. Placing your foot on vaccum helps. Another con I forgot to mention, I don't care for the placement of where you would wrap the cord, so I wind it up and put it in the handle above the dust compartment.

Don't waste your money
I feel like I wasted my money this vacuum doesn't clean anything the suction sucks it just a waste of money it's like a toy for kids it does nothing to your floor I'm so angry right now so very angry it makes no sense how can you sell this product

This is a very CHEAP vacuum ,you get what you pay for ONLY less...every time you attempt to use the SHORT extension hose to clean in a corner , the vacuum FALLS OVER sometimes into your leg or onto your foot ..it is extremely frustrating to use this poorly designed product .ALSO plan on going over your carpet 6 times to get pet hair & other items cleaned up ..very disappointed 😞

Terrible Design Bissell Do Better! Cheap @ $65 but it's trash.
Bissell Vac Design Failure. My 3rd Bissell Vac and this one is horrible. Disgusting to clean and gets clogged after every use so you have to open it up and declog it. I've had it 3 months and I'm fed up with it. Trash and now I need to buy a new one.

Not worth it.
So disappointed with this vacuum. It gets clogged constantly. It spits out everything you just vacuumed. It’s even smoked twice! I have this vacuum 3 chances. I bought one and had so many issues, vacuum lasted only like 2 months. Tried again and purchased the same vacuum and had the same results.

I was not sure how sturdy it would be, but when I started to vacuum, it did a good job. I finished all seven rooms, I took it to the tile at the front door to empty the cup into the trash bag I had prepared. The cup was half full. Dirt and dust and hair! I was impressed because I had just vacuumed with my Shark the day before and it broke down! So I purchased this little one. At the front door, I started to remove the cup and the bottom of it popped open all over the vacuum cleaner and the floor! The clip failed on the bottom and does not stay closed! Taking it back tomorrow.
