submitted byDrea - 1 month agoA: May sound odd, but check if you are using cooking spray. I found if you use a soybean based cooking spray it emits an odd smell. Took me a long time to figure it out. Canola oil based spray is ok.

A: Unlike other machines, you have to select which type of cooking you want first (air fry, bake, roast, reheat, or dehydrate). Then you can adjust the temperature, and set the time. Mine only goes up to 400. Hope this helps. If not you may have a defective machine.

Beware of basket coating peeling
Coating on basket started to peel soon after purchase. Contacted ninja/shark and the baskets are not covered under warranty. Very disappointed on their products.

Quick and easy cooking
I really enjoy using this airfryer. The food cooks quick and even without issues. I can have different type of meals in less than 30 minutes. It is easy to clean, however, after a while and after good many uses, it gets food marks inside the basket and the food start to stick on to the grill. I have it for over 2 years and I believe I might have to buy new baskets and grills or change for a new one. Other than that, it is worth it.

I’ve been using the Ninja Foodi 6-in-1 2-Basket Air Fryer for a while now, and it has truly changed the way I cook. The DualZone™ feature is amazing—it lets me cook two different foods at the same time with different times and temperatures, and everything finishes together. Cleaning: The baskets and crisper plates are nonstick and super easy to wash. I usually just rinse them with warm water and a sponge, and they look new again. Capacity: The 8-quart size is perfect for a family. I can cook a full meal for my kids and still have room left. Great for weeknight dinners when I need to cook fast. Versatility: I’ve used it for air frying, roasting, baking, and even reheating leftovers. It makes fries crispy, chicken juicy, and reheated pizza tastes freshly baked. First experience ruined
this sucks like mid process its just turned off at first i thought like it was overheating so i like unplugged it to let it cool down now when i replug it it doesn't turn on or anything, like this completely socks because this is my first time with this air fryer and it worked perfectly at first with the corn i roasted ad now it just wont work with the fries, honestly i just can't. I'm furious with this product

Loved it until it stopped working
The Ninja appliance malfunctioned shortly after its warranty expiration, with the fan experiencing a failure on one side. While I appreciated the dual compartments, I am hesitant to purchase another Ninja appliance due to this experience. Despite using the appliance approximately once or twice per month and only hand washing it, it still malfunctioned.
