Awful, unreliable machine
I wanted to love this machine. I spent weeks wasting coffee trying to "dial it in" and I just think maybe this one was a lemon. It constantly said that the "water circuit" was empty. It would grind the coffee and then throw away a completely dry puck. I kept the tank filled at all times, cleaned things, tried to see if there was any air. It would make a sound like a jackhammer instead of putting water out of the spout. Then it would get fixed for one coffee and then start all over again. It was just totally unreliable and nothing I did would fix it for more than one coffee. I tried every trick. The only thing that was good about it was that the milk was very good, but even that would sputter and squirt everywhere at times. Even though the milk was good, I can see why just having a wand is better because there are just so many little parts to clean and where things can go wrong. But in the end that was not a problem, it was the espresso part of the machine just didn't work. Also, De'Longhi has been awful to work with on the return. They actually had me send it (paying for it myself, insured) to the wrong address. They actually provided me the wrong address. I know this review will never be published but that is too bad because every word is true and people should know. Don't buy this machine, don't try to work with De'Longhi.

Better than the coffee shop!
The Magnifica Plus is a game changer. The touchscreen makes selecting drinks so simple, and the milk frothing is top-notch. Great purchase
I love this machine. It was very difficult for me to convince myself to purchase it considering the price but I’m so glad I did. There’s a good variety of drinks to choose from though I really typically use about 5 of them depending upon what I’m in the mood for. I’m still playing with the size and intensity to see what I like best. I think the only thing I would change is to have a larger water reservoir. I use it so much, I feel like I have to fill it quite often.

Awesome New features
This is my 3rd Magnifica over a period of 16 years. My other 2 machines lasted on the average of 8 years. This one has more electronic features, but I love it. The automatic milk frother is the best. My husband has always used cream in his coffee. But, with the automatic feature he has switched to whole milk, which is cheaper and less calories than cream. You can also program your favorite drinks and safe them to your profile. We love it so far. It's awesome!

This expresso machine is great. As the lone coffee drinker in the house. I love the convenience and easy cleaning. I make daily use of the machine. I would only ask for the temperature of the coffee to be a little higher. It help if I warm my cup some prior to making my coffee.

Perfecta to Mangifica
We had the Perfecta for over 10 years (and a few repairs). We absolutely loved it. We’re slowly getting adjusted to the Magnifica. We love all the upgraded options and personalization available. It’s been hard to find a setting/selection to duplicate the long and strong full cup we used to be able to get, but I’m sure we’ll figure it out eventually. So far, the machine and the experience with it as well as the coffee has all been excellent. Shipping took an extended period. But that’s been the only negative so far.

This is an awesome coffee machine, perfect coffee every time! We love the large selection of bevoand the ability to customize each drink to our preference is “over the moon”! The only downside is… now we drink a lot more milk-base coffee drinks! Highly recommend this machine!

First Espresso Machine
This is my first espresso machine. I chose this brand and model based on 6 months of research and experimentation. After using it now for three weeks, I'm not really sold on it. I believe it makes really good coffee, espresso, and like espresso beverages but I don't like that the beverage is not very hot. After contacting De'Longhi, they gave me a list of remedies to try to make the water hotter other than what is located in the settings.

Please note: Temperature complaints are quite common and are often related to appliance adjustments or expectations rather than a defect. To properly assess the temperature, a coffee temperature test is required. Please follow these steps in order: 1) Turn the appliance ON. 2) Set the temperature to the maximum level (see Section 9.6 “Coffee 3) Temperature” in your user manual). 4) Run 1–2 rinse cycles to warm up the internal hydraulic system. 5) Select and prepare a 2X espresso coffee. 6) Start the brewing process. 7) Allow at least 20 ml of coffee to be dispensed into the cup. 8) Measure the temperature 2–10 mm from the coffee spout. The expected range is 83°C ± 3°C at a medium temperature level, equal to 181.4°F to 188.6°F. The optimal extraction temperature for espresso falls between 85°C–96°C (185°F–204°F) at the brewing head. However, as hot water travels through the coffee puck and into the cup, heat naturally dissipates by 5–15°F. As a result, the measured flow temperature at the cup is slightly lower than the internal brew temperature. A reading of 181–189°F (83°C ± 3°C) at the spout indicates that the extraction is occurring within the correct thermal window, ensuring proper flavor extraction, balanced crema formation, avoidance of burned or bitter taste. This is the industry standard for fully automatic espresso systems. Please record a short video showing these steps clearly. We absolutely love it. It’s only been a few weeks. My husband wants more coffee style and I love a cappuccino (appreciate the variety of options). Big bonus is the plant based foam is excellent, better than Starbucks for example. And I don’t use barista blends.

Excellent easy to use machine for a novice barista
Overall I am very happy with this machine. It creates delicious espresso drinks and has excellent milk consistency. It is very easy to operate and maintain which were the primary criteria that I was looking for. Prompts on the screen are very helpful in instructing what cleaning tasks need to be performed which are overall fairly minimal. Customizable drink options allow you to easily dial in the size and strength of your desired beverage. Very happy with the purchase

Disappointed
I purchased the Manifica Plus and like the it a lot. Unfortunately within the first 30 days I am experience issues with the machine and cannot get a straight answer or any meaningful action from Delonghi. I am convinced they are making me wait until the 30 days expire so they can service it instead of swapping out my unit. My conversations with Delonghi have been very disappointing with little to no follow through from the company. This is not a good way to start my journey with Delonghi. Very disappointed with my machine and overall experice

Great machine, great coffee
We are enjoying our new machine, maybe too much. We have added decaf beans so we can have more cups throughout the day we out getting too caffinated. The various options for drinks has been fun to try. Our Holiday guests have alos enjoyed exploring the drink options.
