It's been about two years since I bought it, but I use it alone and use it two or three times a month. However, steam is already generated in the portafilter and water is leaking when extracting coffee. Also, when coffee extraction is finished, the coffee powder should be in a clump in the portafilter, but it is full of water. At first, I thought the portafilter was defective and tried to buy it, but they don't sell just the portafilter. If only the filter is broken, I have to buy the entire coffee machine again.

Espresso is NOT hot at all.
I was so excited to get this machine to replace my Keurig, but now I am thoroughly disappointed. While it works at grinding and brewing, the water is not hot at all. It is lukewarm at best. The water out of my kitchen faucet is hotter than the water from the machine. My old Keurig had hotter water as well, so hot that I had to wait a few minutes to sip it. I thought espresso machines were supposed to be super hot? I have watched videos of this machine, and they stated that the water was very hot. Maybe that is the reason these machines are now reduced. I think this is a fatal flaw for a machine at such a high price point. At the very least, it should have a water temperature adjustment option. And running a "blank cycle" or preheating my cup should NOT be an option. I hope Philips corrects this flaw in their next version because this is unacceptable.

Fast, good espresso, great for parties
I purchased before the holidays and was impressed how well the Baristina made espresso in a short time. Much easier than a high end espresso machine, especially during parties when multiple espressos are needed. The ability to adjust volume and to add a separate grind without removing the beans is great. The instruction videos on YouTube were very helpful. I purchased five unit for myself and family.

Waste of money
I am so frustrated with this machine. While the power still turns on fine, the actual performance has completely failed after only 4 months. It has become a total mess to use. The grinder barely puts out enough coffee for a shot, and when I try to brew, it leaks all through the portafilter. The worst part is the 'soupy' mess it leaves behind; there is more water left sitting in the portafilter than there is espresso in my cup.

Unsafe
Due to a defect hot water can overflow leading to burns and slippery floors. Phillips refuses to provide warranty support to correct the issue.

I'm a coffee lover, just bought the machine on Black Friday offers . I like the machine simplicity, hope Philips will add just 2 upgrades - Double shot Espresso - App functionality ( can you app to automade my coffee remotely ) - optional ( new machine colors , like : Red , Pink , Green , Blue )

worked fine for 2 months, then after that, it doesn't grind enough coffee, and leaving water in the portafilter, more water than the espresso cup itself. I should have believed the reviews I read before buying. It is a piece of junk, do not buy.

Poor web site!
I need to buy a this part but unfortunately the web site doesn't allow me. Moreover, I dont live in US, but i bought my Baristina there when I was traveling. As this product is not officialiy distributed in my country, my unique way to solve this is buying through this web site! Please, i just wanna buy it! Help me to allow me to use my Baristina again!

Website Designed By A 6 Year Old!
Needed a new one of these.....the poorly designed website did not have an option to add it to cart and purchase it. So now Philips is losing a customer because there is no option to purchase a replacement part. Well done Philips!!
