I bought this three Weeks ago and I want to return it. It has a very short battery life and it seems to always get lost when navigating. The suction is hit or miss. Most of the time the suction is too low to suck anything up. And half the time it finishes the job but it is only done a quarter of the area. The airways always seem to be blocked so I am constantly getting messages to clear the air intake and filter. I have tried multiple different settings to see if it would help I have used the high suction setting but then the battery dies in 20 minutes. I have never been a fan of Dyson Vacuums. My husband bought this for me and we both regret it.

Overall we are very pleased with our 360 vis nav. It cleans really really well. The only problem we have is that it gets stuck on the floor registers, and then needs my help to get it moving again. Which means I can’t run it when I am away from the house incase it gets stuck. Any advice? What if I removed the register covers before it cleans?

I wanted a well-built robot that did one thing well…..vacuum. After 3 weeks of using the VisNav, we’re going to keep it. It is very well-constructed. Uses camera-based navigation instead of LIDAR but if you understand how that works and follow the instructions for mapping, use and care, it’s mostly good. Use the AUTO setting for everything. We get a full storey of cleaning before a charge is needed. The HEPA filter is super easy to clean. The beater bar runs the full width of the vac. Yes, it’s a good idea to organize your home a bit before letting the robot loose. Yes, mapping your rooms makes a big difference. The bin is huge so emptying it is not onerous. And super-easy. Like any robot, it will occasionally hang-up somewhere and need rescuing. Most times though, it just works and then returns to the dock to recharge. Sometimes the sensors need a quick clean, a 30-second job. The iPhone app is just fine and full of information. If you’re willing to set it up and prepare your home according to the detailed instructions, the VisNav does its job.

The good ; - it vacuums really, really well. - easy to clean dust bin. The bad, it’s a long list; - it only docks 3 out of ten tries. - if you ask to clean multiple rooms, it only cleans the first then wanders around for an hour looking for the next zone. - it doesn’t detect high traffic areas - no ability to indicate high traffic areas (like the avoid or no-climb areas) - 1 out of 6 tries, it’s wanders around aimlessly unable to find the zone. - when trying to dock, it pushes the dock station down the wall. - a cleaning zone takes 20 minutes (good) but returning to the dock can take over one hour (if it finds it). - does not operate well in the dark, so no nighttime cleaning. - out of 8 zones, it only finds the 4 closest to the dock. It must be corralled to find the other zones. Overall all - this would be an excellent cleaner if the navigation issues were fixed. Because of the terrible navigation, I would recommend other brands.

I’ve had the Dyson Vis Nav 360 for about 3 weeks and unfortunately it has many shortcomings. The only positive this robot has is it is a good vacuum and does well on hardwood and carpets. Navigation is poor, it constantly gets lost after cleaning. Gets stuck on ground vents…which other cheaper robots had no issue with. It also likes to reboot multiple times at the dock for no apparent reason. I have tried cleaning the cameras, the dock and the vacuum itself. Nothing seems to help stop the reboots. Multi level cleaning is there but you need a separate dock for each floor. It also needed to run the mapping mode multiple times to get an accurate map that will work. All in all, I only recommend this is if you need a decent vacuum - the robotic features are unfortunately a let down.

I want to love the vacuum, when it works it's amazing.... unfortunately the seasons on the vacuum are so sensitive that one tiny piece of dust on them and it malfunctions from the glare off the tile. It can not run at night because it has a light on top that comes on and you guessed it, causing a huge glare to the sensors and the robot goes crazy running in a circle. If you clean seasons and supervise and run during the day it does a pretty good job. If you phone with the app is not home it goes crazy...so you have to be home and run during prime time charging hours and supervise which is extremely frustrating and tech support takes 5-6 days to respond to an email and give you the most basic help."did you clean the sensors"...

I bought this two weeks ago to replace a different brand robotic vacuum and I'm stunned at how much better this vacuum is in almost every aspect. My old "Brand i" robot vacuum was always banging into things and was very loud. This unit is very gentle on objects because it uses vision instead of a bumper. It's quiet and does well on both carpet and hardwood. In addition, the cleaning patterns are far superior and the speed at which it does the job is excellent. The old vacuum used to have to recharge at least once on the same jobs, but this one completes the jobs without going back to charge midway through the job. The only thing I'd like to see on a future model is a self-emptying dust bin. That was a nice feature on our old one, but I will say that the self emptying feature could have been better. Overall a fantastic vacuum compared to the competitors.

I’ve had my Dyson 360 Vis Nav, whom I’ve named Dizzy for 3 weeks. Dizzy gets lost often and has a short battery life. Gets stuck on flat a/c floor vent often. However, when Dizzy works it’s really good. I’m a Dyson owner for 25 years and think Dyson could have engineered a much better product. Still need to get rid of the bugs.

I bought this nearly a year ago and believe that this machine has good suction but the navigation is very poor and a lot of battery wasted getting back to home base or finding the room. It needs Lidar. Get this navigation right and it will turn into a good 4 star machine.......

Very happy with my Vis Nav! Very impressed with the pick up ability and filtration! Mapping was easy, and so long as you don't mind tidying up beforehand it has zero problems navigating! Battery lasts longer than expected, and I'm content with the app! Though it will hopefully get more features over time.

I love Dyson products and have already bought at least five of their vacuums throughout the years, as well as a couple air purifiers. I have also bought previously a couple Roomba robots. The Roombas were not as efficient but easier to use than the 360 Vis Nav. With the Dyson 360 Vis Nav, I had to map, but the mapping was not what I wanted and decided it was too much trouble to map. Especially when the Wifi is down. So, the 360 Vis Nav is used without the mapping, but it doesn't always vacuum stuff up, because it first navigates and then, decides to vacuum, I always am using the Dyson V8 to vacuum the stuff that the 360 Vis Nav doesn't pickup. As always, I love the Dyson products for its solid engineering and the substantial size of the bin container. It has never gotten full on one vacuum because I empty it automatically after every clean. The V8 picks up more stuff after the 360 Vis Nav clean. It acts more like a helper, since I still have to move doggie beds and furniture to get behind and in between all that .
