Hyperice X Knee Hot and Cold Therapy

I wanted this to be so much more but with how quickly the battery drains (2-3 cold sessions) you almost have to be tethered to an outlet defeating the purpose of convenience. Now, I am impressed of how cold/warm it gets but the fit is not great if you actually want to walk around with it like the advertising suggests. I've used this for my own knee aches, and tried to hack it to us eon my daughter's broken foot. The price is pretty steep and I'm just not sure the value is all the way there (yet).

I had a very complicated knee surgery and have a very long recovery/PT process. After a hard PT strength/mobility session, my knee is sore. The hot/cold contrast therapy helps so much and seems to speed my recovery. It's super convenient, which means I use it more than if I had to use separate cold/hot packs. It's also easily portable for work or travel. Essential.

I use this almost every night!! the reason this did not get a 10 and five star is because the battery life is horrible!! 30 minutes and it dies!! I have had a total of 5 knee surgeries between both knees and both knees are bone on bone. The Hyperice X Knee is great and relieves soreness. I use it with my Tenz unit and I get relief. I just wish I could use it longer than 15 minutes on each knee then it is done until it is charged up again. Not the best situation when you need it longer. I do like the unit and it does help! If the battery life would last longer this would be better.

I love using this brace after any activity, the cooling function works incredibly well to help with the swelling & pain I get in my knees from post traumatic arthritis. It’s like if an ice pack stayed at the perfect temp instead of slowly burning/numbing the skin. Wish I had this thing after my MPFL surgery, it is truly a game changer for inflammation relief! Only reason I don’t give it a 10/10 is the price is quite high, everyone I’ve recommended it to balks at the cost.

I’ve been using the Hyperice X Knee every day, and it’s honestly one of the best investments I’ve made for my recovery and joint health. The combination of heat and cold therapy in one device is incredibly convenient, and I can really feel the difference after each session, it works. My knee feels more mobile and less achy, whether I’ve had a tough workout or just a long day on my feet. The only downside is that I wish the battery lasted a bit longer, especially since I use it so often. But even with that, the performance and results make it totally worth it. If you're considering it, do it. Your knees will thank you!

The Hyperice X Knee is very easy to use right out of the box. The app is straightforward and simple to use as well. Although there are multiple settings for your specific need, I nearly always set the Injury Maintenance routine and sit back and chill while it does its thing. I would typically use after a mountain bike or dirtbike ride and over the course of the following week after using I noticed decreased pain and swelling in the knee. I notice the greatest relief when using it after a run. I would like to say it made me faster, and theoretically it may have, but this would be difficult to measure. I have seen where some have said the battery life is short, but this has not been an issue for me as I typically put a full charge on it before heading out and wear it on the way home or when I get back. Overall, I highly recommend.

Good after knee surgery, like the ability to plug it in and use it, doesn’t do as much cooling on the patella tendon as I want and nothing for the back. If you get surgery and want one it’s not bad but regular ice packs and a friend to get up and grab them is about the same. Will probably use when I get back to full blown activity to help with swelling

I feel like this piece of revolutionary equipment is so close to being great but they feel just short in their design. I feel that I am of average height at 5' 11", but even for me it feels as though it doesn't wrap well and therefore doesn't function well below the kneecap because of the design. The whole thing needs to be a bit longer with possibly one more heating/cooling cup and then it would function much better. Stil a great product though.

So I ordered the Hyperice X, and after using the device for the first time my Knee felt Great. I had a total of 7 more sessions in a two week period on the Contrast Therapy mode, and I haven’t had any more knee problems since. My wife even used it and couldn’t believe the results. I have been dealing with some patellar femoral knee pain. I purchased this because I know someone who has had knee issues and it's been a game changer. I can say from experience it's one of the best recovery devices I have ever used. I use the contrast therapy for post workouts and I feel it works. Its unique speed and consistency of changing from cold to hot multiple times is so valuable. The app has a ton of features I have not had a chance to use yet. I can say for certain it's a great piece of equipment. My only criticism is, the battery only lasts about 1 hour. So I'm charging it more than I would like. Overall I would recommend 10 out of 10!

I was a bit skeptical when first purchasing this due to the price, but after getting hit by a vehicle and sustaining bad knee issues, I figured I would try whatever it takes. Let me tell you this thing is totally worth it! It helps me recover after workouts, Helps me feel refreshed and ready for a workout and also helps me wind down and relax at night loosening up any tension or pain that is in my knee. It is pretty user-friendly with the app and self-explanatory. I watched a couple YouTube videos prior to using just to make sure I fully understood it. Of course, my only complaint would be that the battery doesn’t last long but with all the other perks I just make sure I keep it charged just as a person would their phone every night.

I fell while sprinting on tile and landed on my knee. Three months later there was still swelling, stiffness, and scar tissue. I’ve been using this device for a few weeks and feel like it has been an integral part in the improvement I’ve had since doing the contrast therapy routines. It hurt so bad to even roll from one side to the other in bed and I couldn’t put any weight while kneeling on the injured knee. Now, I still have a ways to go but I am SO much more active than I have been since I got hurt. I’ve been telling everyone I know about this including my physical therapist. She started showing the other physical therapists because she was so impressed with the cooling. Not to mention… it is ONE device for heat and cold therapy and I don’t have to be connected to an outlet. I have a long commute on a highway and wear my hyper x while using cruise control on my way to home and work. Also, you can use it for only heat, only cold therapy, or both for each session. Do yourself a favor and buy this!

This device is very comfortable. I've been using the product for about 6 months(5 months prior to buying my own). It had been amazing. The ability to enjoy different programs from the app, and the levels of cold and heat are amazing. Best of all, I don't have to keep it plugged in to enjoy. The only negative I could see is that the battery does seem to be very short when enjoying the product, but it's you think about it, you get several 15-20 minute sessions before you have to recharge it. Medical professionals recommend for pain and swelling to ice/ heat for about 20 minutes. So, the battery is really not that bad, but we would all like to have more time when experiencing something so therapeutic. A car charger would be a great accessory. Overall, I love it!! It goes everywhere with me.
