Thank you for your feedback. To achieve the best seal and secure fit with your JBL Tune Flex 2, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal. For further assistance, feel free to contact our customer support.

I got these a couple of weeks ago. I'm not use to having the little stick hanging out my ear, but other than that these thing ROCK! The bass is what you would expect from your kid's car. I listen to rock, country, little tractor rap...pretty much anything but classical. These make all sound great and loud!!

This is not what we'd like you to experience with your JBL Tune Flex 2. Try using different ear tips to achieve a snug fit in your ear. Adjust the ear tip angle slightly downward for easier insertion into the ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely to the shape of your ear, and continue twisting it into your ear canal. If the issue persists, please contact our customer support for additional assistance.

A Definitive Upgrade

Virtually everything good about the Tune Flex 1 has been retained and the flaws have been greatly improved. Connection points on the buds are easier to keep clean, the earpieces have rubber mesh to keep the actual screens on the speakers cleaner, and the size of the part that sticks out of the ear has been slightly reduced. I also LOVE the multi-device connection. It makes swapping between listening to my phone or my laptop beyond easy, thoughtless even! highly recommend the upgrade if you enjoyed the Tune Flex 1, or if you want quality sound and device fluidity.

Battery is food. I hear extra noise, interference during conversations, sometimes the other person can't hear me or they hear sounds that are very far from me very loudly and all this happens with the advanced settings mode turned off and with the modes in the JBL app turned on. I am more disappointed than happy

I bought these a couple months back. They have never been able to noise cancel. No matter if I try the app or the ear bud itself it will not noise cancel. Also the last couple days on the jobsite when ever there is contact between metal they get static. Drilling or even when my plier handles make contact. Would not recommend.
1 reply from Customer Support team - 2 months ago
Thanks for your feedback. Our JBL Tune Flex 2 offers two ear tip sound modes, you can use open tips to stay aware of your surroundings or switch to sealing tips (in three sizes) for a snug fit and better passive noise cancelling. As for the static issue, you can try to reset it to isolate the problem. To reset, with both earbuds on and not charging, tap two times and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. You may need to 'forget' the headphones in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again. For further assistance, please contact us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was eager to try the JBL Tune Flex 2 earphones because I work from home and frequently join virtual meetings online and my previous earphones were problematic when using with my meeting apps. So I was hoping that these JBL Tune Flex 2's could replace my standard laptop earphones AND work well for my virtual meetings, with good audio quality, noise cancelation and mute controls. The JBL Tune Flex 2's definitely delivered, and exceeded my expectations. My personal experience with them was smooth from the start — I paired them with my laptop in seconds. As soon as I opened the charging case, the lights on the earphones began flashing and broadcasting the bluetooth signal allowing it to be detectable on my laptop. I expected good audio quality with good bass and decent noise cancellation, and in reality, they exceeded that. The sound quality had clean highs, and a deep, discernable bass that was not overbearing. It felt loud in my ears but when I removed them no one outside could hear anything, which was perfect. It felt like an immersive experience. I did a few test calls and meetings, and the feedback from the other end was great - they said my audio came in loud and clear to them and they didn't have any problems hearing me. Touching the ear buds allows it to toggle from noise cancelation mode, to ambient sounds mode. The feedback I've received from other callers on meetings say that they don't hear any background noise so this indicates to me that the feature is working. I'll continue to use it for work as it's convenient and does what I need, and includes mute controls. One standout feature is how lightweight they are, making them perfect for travel, and I also love the sleek black design. The design feels sturdy and well-made, and I appreciated the flashing lights used to convey the different states. For me, these earphones added convenience with easy touch controls giving me more flexibility during meetings and calls. They’ve also helped me focus better by tuning out distractions. My honest verdict? The JBL Tune Flex 2 earphones are a solid contender in the portable ear buds arena. They’d be perfect for any listener who appreciates high quality audio that JBL is known for and wants something better than standard wireless earphones. There are convenient ear fitting attachments included to help make sure you have a snug fit, and includes a nice little holding case. One thing I had to get used to was avoiding accidentally touching the ear piece as it would change the modes on each touch. For others considering these, I’d say give them a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thoroughly impressed with the JBL Tune Flex 2’s packaging. Everything was incredibly easy to unpack. I’ve been using these earbuds for a while now, and I’m genuinely impressed. I particularly loved how intuitive the touch controls on the earpieces were. I didn’t even need to read the instructions, and I hadn’t even opened the app yet, but I quickly got the hang of them. It was incredibly easy to learn by simply tapping on them. Eventually, I ventured over to the app, and I was delighted by how user-friendly and customizable the Tune Flex earbuds are. The app offers a wide range of options, and I have nothing negative to say about it. The case is compact and convenient, but I’m a bit concerned about dropping it, so I might consider using a silicone case to protect it. Taking the earbuds in and out was a bit challenging at times due to my large, chubby fingers. Occasionally, it became a bit of a hassle. The earbuds themselves feel comfortable and durable. They were a perfect fit right out of the box. I tried the different tips, but they fit exactly as they came. In terms of sound quality, I thought they were quite decent. However, I wish they were a bit louder and had better overall sound. But considering the value for money, I have no complaints. Moving on to the case, I must say, it’s exceptionally well-designed. I appreciate all the little details they’ve incorporated into it. One thing I particularly enjoyed was listening to my podcast while taking walks or doing other activities. The vocals and voices sounded incredibly clear and immersive. However, I wish the sound could be more customizable. Overall, I’m pleased with this product from JBL. I’m glad I have these earbuds in my possession.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These earbuds are really good. The cancellation of the outside noise is incredible. The sound quality is great too. The only thing I didn’t like is how they feel in my ears. Although they fit, I don’t find them too comfortable. It could be me, since my brother said they’re comfortable. Other than that, I have no complaints. JBL rarely disappoints me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These earbuds are next level in sound quality. They have enough bass to rattle my brain while still being super clear. I was able to hear individual instruments and sounds regardless of the volume level. I love that they came with 4 different tip options so I have choices of what is most comfortable in my ears. Also a minor detail but I really appreciate that the case is flat on the back as I regularly put the case in my pocket. The flat back is more comfortable in my pocket than other earbud cases I’ve had. The downside is that I find it a little tricky to remove the earbuds from the case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am always looking to add to my collection of earbuds or headphones. You can say it's an obsession of mine. With the Tune Flex I had expected a decent experience along with the signature JBL sound. They definitely delivered on the sound but lacked in other areas for me. Here is a breakdown of what I liked and what I didn't like. Likes: * The sound quality * Connectivity to my Windows 10/11 laptops * Battery life * Charging speed * Multi-point connection * Find my buds * Color From my experience the sound was best at a lower setting and not maxed out. Bass was punchy like most JBL products. Which can lend itself to a muddier sound, but nothing adjusting the EQ can't fix. I do like the inclusion of an app that allows fine tuning of the sound and creating custom EQ settings. Connectivity was definitely a snap on my Windows laptops. Opened the case and bam! Windows asked if I wanted to connect to the Tune Flex. I have an iPhone so no Fast Pair or MS Swift Pair but that's on Apple. But no issues connecting to my iPhone. And once connected you can use the JBL Headphones app to customize your EQ, ambient control, ear tip settings and a bunch more settings to make your experience the best for you. Battery life has been really good. I don't use them all of the time but one day I constantly used them for calls at work. And never had to charge that day since I would pop them back into the case when I wasn't using. When I did charge, it was really fast. Going from 55% to around 100% in 10min. Multi-point connection was a breeze to use and great in use. I could take work calls from my laptop and then listen to music from my phone. Very handy feature for someone that works from home. I did like the Find my buds feature in the app but wish there was an option for the case. Currently the buds have to be outside of the case to use this feature. Which is great if you sat down a bud or both and forgot where you left them. Not so great if you have them in the case and lost that. Another like for me was the color. Yes, it is just black, but for me that was a change from your white ear buds. Dislikes: * Comfort * Noise Cancelling * Changing tips * Touch controls Now I will start with these are not deal breakers for me. More annoyances that I eventually got use to over time. But first was comfort. It took trying all of the included tips and adjusting several times before they didn't make my ears sore after extended use. Though my ears would still get sore after several hours of use. Noise cancelling was decent for the price point. But ambient aware was pretty disappointing. I felt like I could only differentiate between the two if the ambient sound was really loud. But knowing it was adaptive noise cancelling I didn't expect the best noise cancelling experience. Changing the ear tips was a bit of a pain at first. It felt as if I was going to tear or rip them. I wish there was better instructions on how to change these out. But once I got the hang of it, the process was easy. And last was touch controls. Remembering how to do all of the gestures was a bit daunting. Luckily the app has you covered there. And the touch is a bit sensitive. So while you are putting them on you are bound to change the ANC setting several times or pause/play your music. But once I got better at handling them and putting them in my ear it became less of a problem. One last oddity was the placement of the buds in the case. When I take them out, I expected to insert them with the tips pointing inwards. But I had to rotate them in my fingers and the tips point out. Just felt odd and took getting use to. Overall, I do enjoy them, but they will not be my EDC buds. They will be my dedicated desk/work buds for taking calls and listening to music while I work when needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Tune Flex 2 is a solid choice for everyday listening. The sound is clear and bass is deep, making music and calls enjoyable. Noise cancellation works well, but you can also switch to ambient mode to hear what’s around you. They’re lightweight and comfortable, great for all-day wear. Water resistance makes them safe for workouts or rainy days. Battery life is strong, with up to 8 hours per charge (32 hours with the case). Call quality is decent but could be better in loud places. Overall, a great, budget-friendly option with JBL’s signature sound.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These ear buds really do it all. The first thing I noticed is all the "extras" you get with it. It comes with several cushions for different uses. From XS for more of an open feeling to S/M/L for more sealing. I've never seen this before but there's also a small holder for an extra pair of cushions. It has Adaptive noise canceling and I recommend downloading the app for more adjustments. The sounds is amazing and the battery lasts a long time.

Great All-Around Earphones for Everyday Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Tune Flex 2 earphones are a great choice for anyone looking for an affordable pair of wireless earbuds that sound really good. The earphones come with Open Ear Tips (size XS) installed, but JBL provides three sizes of Sealing Ear Tips that can easily be swapped on (make sure you choose the proper tips in the app for best sound). I switched to the Sealing tips and found the Tune Flex 2 to be very comfortable for extended wear. With the sealing tips, they stayed snug in my ears, ideal for anything but the most jarring movement-intensive activities. In terms of sound, the Tune Flex 2 delivers the classic JBL sound profile (which I’ve been in love with since 1985) with deep bass and clear mids and highs. While it's not the most refined sound when compared with some of JBL’s higher-end models, it holds its own for casual listening and workouts. The earphones have a balanced sound, making them a great option for everyday use. I don’t think I would pick these out for traveling (cutting out the airplane drone) or critical listening, but I did find myself going back to them for my daily gym routines – I was able to listen to my music but wasn’t shut out from everyone and everything else. The combination of comfort and sound quality was perfect. I got just over 8 hours of playtime on a single charge, and the fast-charging capabilities add a bit of convenience, letting you get a quick boost in case you’re in a rush. They come with Bluetooth 5.2 and pairing was simple. Call quality was on par with just about every other JBL earphone I have, which is to say pretty good. One thing I really appreciate is the functionality and simplicity of the JBL Headphones app. It’s great - period. It makes tweaking the sound of the earphones simple. JBL engineers have done a fantastic job here. The biggest problem I had was no matter what tips I tried or how much I tried to hold them in, I just couldn’t get them to seal in my ears, which leads to sub-optimal noise cancelation. Maybe I have oddly shaped inner ears, but I don’t have this problem with other JBL earphones. The other negative about that is that I can’t take advantage of JBL’s PersoniFi equalization. I do wish JBL could figure out a way to apply one PersonFi setting across multiple sets of headphones / earphones. The hearing loss in my left ear isn’t any different whether I’m using the Tune Flex 2, Reflect Flow Pro, or Tour One M2. Overall, the JBL Tune Flex 2 is a solid option for those who want reliable sound quality, comfort, and battery life without breaking the bank. They're a great all-rounder for everyday use, workouts, or casual listening sessions, though if you’re looking for premium features or better noise cancellation, you might want to explore higher-tier models.

Amazing Audio in Such a Small Package!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the JBL Tune Flex 2 earbuds for the last couple of weeks. I've been extremely impressed by how much sound and bass such a small pair of buds can generate. First of all, this pair of headphones come with both open ear tips and sealing ear tips, a charging cable, and the charging case. Going back to the ear tips, these allow for moving back and forth between full noise canceling with the sealed tips and using the open ear tips to stay aware of your surrounding noise. While working out, I tend to go with full noise canceling. I love that these earbuds are water resistant and tend to stay in place despite my movement. While at home, I mostly always use the open ear tips so I can hear the kids. Another amazing feature is the 6 mics for call quality. My mom has always hated how I sound on my phone calls, but since channeling my audio through these, she no longer complains. These headphones for the most part are great for me and my daily usage. The only real complaint is that on days that my husband likes to borrow them, the tiny earbuds are difficult for him to remove from the case with his larger fingers. Overall though I highly recommend and will be purchasing more for family!

Favorite In-Ear Buds. Exceeds expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Summary: Great fit, volume limit is crazy high (in a good way), sound range/quality are impressive As someone with smaller ears/ear canals, I typically struggle with finding in-ear buds that sufficiently noise cancel without going all the way inside my ears since anything too deep results in a bad fit... Which means I pretty much exclusively use Over-Ear headphones, but they're not always the most convenient for being on the move, so I'm happy to finally have found a pair of buds that provide the same (if not better) sound quality while being much more travel-friendly. These have really added a layer of convenience to my life without sacrificing quality. These stay in place and have a wider base in order to help block out sound without needing typical suction endings (although there are other tips provided). The tips come with 4 sizes ranging from XS-L, and I love that the XS is actually removable which makes it easier to clean rather than needing to use a needle directly on the headphone. They're extremely comfortable to the point I forget they're in sometimes. My favorite part? I have minor hearing loss in one ear and love to listen to my music LOUD. It's basically like there's no volume limit with these. Seriously. I utilized the Personi-Fi setting in the app for a customized experience, bumped up the bass, and can't even listen to music at full volume without my head vibrating. It's amazing. I really get the all-encompassing experience of music without needing to compromise on comfort and bag space. I'm practically crying tears of joy to finally have earbuds that work for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Personally my fav set earbuds for working in the garage and fishing with. Have to find the right ear piece to fit just right so they dont fall out in smaller ears. My wife had a hard time keeping thwm in her ears while working out, but I did not have issues at all. Great sound quality and depth of sound. Cancel out the outside noise or use 1 ear bud and make the charge last all day and stay aware. One of my favorite features , charge one bud while you listen to the other. Esp love using them fishing next to the highway, cancels out almost all noise while listen to podcast or music. Used one time qhile using chainsaw, cuts out most of the noise but hard to cancel out a Husky 570xp.
