A: No, you should not use it wet, this is a dry product that works like a broom not a mop. However, it gets the dirt and dust up much better than a broom. Some stays in the pad but most you will need to pick up with a dustpan and brush. Then you use the comb to comb the dirt dust and hair that stays in the pad into the trash can. It is best to hold the head over the trashcan when you do this. The pad looks really dirty but after combing it is amazing the amount of the dirt that is loose and goes into the trashcan and the broom is ready for use again.
