UP Machine -???
I have had many different Nespresso coffee makers thru the years ,but not sure about UP. the 1st UP machine i purchased did not work out of the box had to return it. i just received my new UP machine . It feels and looks very cheapy . The drawer where the used pods go makes a mess ,not sure why the used pods are swimming in coffee water and i have been trying to set up the Bluetooth connection but i cannot get it to link -come on Nespresso you can do better

Functions great but pod tray molds quickly
We've had this machine for about 3 months and it has been great in every regard except the capsule tray. The new design of the sideways loaded pods allows tons of water to get into the pod drop tray. With all the extra water it molds very quickly. This requires you to empty and clean the pod catcher tray after every coffee. I would give 5 stars if this design flaw gets fixed. I gave it 4 stars because it is overall functionally better than the Vertuo Next. We love the ability to compress a larger coffee into an espresso, well done with that feature.

It’s normal to notice a small amount of liquid in the drip tray after each brew (a few ml per coffee), due to the machine’s technology & design. Great machine loving my Virtuo Up
Got this machine after my old Nespresso machine arrived at her end of life. I was a little sceptical at using the app but found I could increase the level of heat on my coffee which was a great plus. Absolutely love it now. I am a serious Nespresso fan so would have like$ a larger capsule collection bin but I just check it more often.

Great Coffee

Operating is a bit tricky because Nespresso doesn't give you much info regarding how to operate in the form of a user manual, so if you're not familiar it can be a bit of a struggle. Be sure to download the full user manual off the Nespresso Site. I wish the machine would allow at least two people to have access to the App WiFi.

Space saver
We've had a few Nespresso machines, this one fits our counter very well. We are impressed with how fast it heats up. I was unable to test our water as it did not come with the test strip.

Up Disappointment
I was excited to receive my new Vertuo Up machine...what a disappointment! It makes the biggest mess when brewing: wet capsules, wasted coffee in the capsule basket, splatters when you open the top to insert or eject the capsule. I regret not staying with my "tried and true" Evoluo favorite.

I love my Nespresso!

Makes hot delicious coffee
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this Vertuo Up machine for the past month and I really like it! It brews hotter than my previous older Nespresso machine. I think the coffee tastes much better as well. I really like the customization button where you can make stronger coffee, which is ideal for iced coffee or lattes. It is a bit loud when brewing and has a few more steps for cleaning up the used pod tray, but it is definitely worth it. I also like that you can use the machine with an app on your phone.

Nice machine with some drawbacks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The versatility this machine offers is great but it is quite a bit louder than our previous vertuo machine and it seems to dilute the coffee down a bit more so the bold nespresso flavor we're used to isn't quite there. Also the machine is more cheaply manufactured which can be felt in the flimsy water reservoir and floating tray (now made of plastic).

Coffee stays in Trash
I returned it within 2 weeks of purchase. You will need to constantly clean the machine as it releases liquid after each use. If you have the other machines, you just need to worry about dumping the "trash" once it's full. Not with the new version. Not only does it hold the "trash" it holds onto liquid as well. Doing 2 pods of coffee, you can expect a shot of liquid in the "trash" that you will throw out. I actually started pouring in an espresso shot glass to prove a point, and it was when I made the final decision to return it. I couldn't fathom the amount of coffee that was being dumped in the "trash" with the used pods.

High hopes, but disappointed
Had it now for 2 months, and it's the worst I've ever had in 22 years. I have more coffee in the used cap container than in the cup. I clean that thing every day because it is leaving such a mess.

Great Machine!

It’s much quieter than our previous machine and heats up almost instantaneously. The capsule being loaded like the original machine is much easier to close. The larger reservoir is a nice bonus.
