Q: Why do you think we have USB outlets in our BATHROOMS? Seems silly to recharge my toothbrush in my office. Was going to buy one for my husband, but now I'm not.

Q: i have an older model where the power stand plugs into the wall. Can i use this to charge the brush or do i need to use the base with the USB powered base.

submitted by Sylvia - 1 year ago
  • A: Hello! For optimal performance, we recommend using the charger that came with your Philips Sonicare toothbrush. Some charger models are interchangeable, so if your Sonicare toothbrush has a hole at the base of its handle, it can use our chargers with a fixed pin.

I accidentally reported this review: "The toothbrush itself works fine but, unless placed *just so* on the base, it constantly beeps/buzzes, usually in the middle of the night. It’s the most annoying sound!" I had the exact same experience! Also, the rubber button disintegrated within the first few months of use.

The price should have been my indicator that this no frills tooth brush was really no frills. I think it is important to note that there is no way to control the intensity. Just ONE intensity and I think it is like a jet engine. I'm SHOCKED anyones gums are still intact after using this tooth brush. It should be very clear on the product description page that this is a high intensity ONLY toothbrush.

Being a black tea and red wine drinker, there was always an issue with getting my teeth white. Now they are brilliant white. And even feel cleaner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a dental hygienist, and once I found this, have recommended it to dozens of patients. It is very limited version of, in my opinion, the best electric toothbrush available. It has three important features including the 2-minute timer, quadrant pacer, and pressure indicator. It is a basic version of the very expensive option with less bells and whistles. The price point is right on. Highly recommend.
