Description
quip Rev revolves around your personal oral care needs with features that are loved by mouths, backed by science. Remove up to 11x more plaque from between teeth* with 3 brushing intensities (gentle, daily, deep clean), a guiding pressure sensor that helps prevent harsh brushing (red light and pulses remind you to let the brush do the work), and a charge that lasts up to 30 days. The quip Rev replaceable soft-bristle brush head oscillates, rotates, and pulsates to help remove plaque along the gumline and between teeth, and is great for sensitive teeth and gums. Meticulously designed, yet boldly simple, the sleek, lightweight handle (metal detail) features a 2-minute timer with 30-second pulses for extra care and control, and comes with a magnetic charging cable (adapter not included), stand, and travel case [plus, mirror mount with select models]. To get the best clean, replace brush heads on the dentist-recommended schedule every 3 months before they are old, worn out, and ineffective. Do not use on children under age 3. Make a simple switch to the best electric toothbrush with quip Rev, accepted by the American Dental Association.

pros: - by far one of the best looking electric toothbrushes on the market - long battery life (charge every ~30 days), so no cord dangling across your bathroom sink - really sleek and functional weighted base (again, so much better than a cord dangling everywhere) cons: - brush heads are EXPENSIVE and i’ve yet to find knock-off cheap ones - brush “pressure” sensor is useless and only provides feedback if you’re pushing so incredibly hard on your teeth

This toothbrush was great.... until it wasn't. Bought one for myself and my husband. In less than a year, both stopped working and would not charge. Both replaced under warranty, and within a few months both replacements had the same issue.
Won't go back

I'll never go back. Not just the rotating head, but the whole design makes it easy to reach every nook and corner of my mouth. Afterwards, it's like I never felt I'd thoroughly brushed my teeth before.
Doesn't last even a year.

Same issues as others have reported - just stopped functioning one day, less than a year in. Lights up but does not actually work despite being charged. This has turned me off Quip going forward. I’d rather spend a little more and have a product that lasts rather than this hunk of plastic going so quickly to the landfill (not to mention the waste of money).
Purchased as a gift, she loves it!

Great, compact toothbrush and I appreciate how quiet it is. My only complaint is that the brush head is wide and takes more effort to maneuver around my back molars.

I have had this for about a week and I like almost everything about it. It is simple to use, it leaves my mouth feeling very clean, I like the magnetic mirror holder a LOT (worth the extra money I had to spend to add it to my order) and it is sleek and easy to clean. I took a star off because it has started to make an annoying, rattling sound that doesn't seem like it is going away. It is not annoying enough to go through the hassle to send it back, but it is annoying enough to mention. Overall, for the price, I am happy with my purchase.

I purchased this on October 18th of 2024, & it is now dead. It didn't even last a year. Generic offbrand electric toothbrushes I purchased on Amazon in the past have lasted longer than this. Only reason I bought this was because I wanted to try a reputable brand. As another reviewer mentioned, the light just keeps changing colors when pressing/holding the button. And if you leave it on the charger, it just keeps flashing. Also, the day it stopped working, it kept turning on by itself until it eventually died permanently.

Unlike some other brands I’ve had that were too powerful and made a mess, this one offers different settings that accommodate different preferences.

I've been using this product for 9 months now and I have to say, I don't love it. I really dislike how gross and gunky it gets around the base of the replacement head if I'm not diligent about removing it and rinsing it well after every brush. Also, at times, it makes a high pitched noise while in use...I'm not sure if mine is defective or what. I previously used a Sonicare and I never had these issues. In terms of effectiveness, I would rate this slightly below my old Sonicare. Still, my dentist did comment about how clean my teeth looked at my last appointment (but that's not unusual ever since I switched to an electric toothbrush years ago). I'm going to continue using this brush through the end of the year, then I'll likely switch to the Ultra version, since the design appears to have fewer moving parts.

I wanted to the like this quip, I've been eyeing them for a while and finally took the plunge. It's sleek and not too loud. Unfortunately I received a defective one that wouldn't charge at all.

I've been using quip toothbrushes for over 7 years. Before then I had a Sonicare for about 5 years. When I saw this brush last year I bought it thinking (and hoping) that it would be more effective than the standard sonic brushes and I was right. I accumulate tartar quickly - despite brushing twice a day - which contributed to my periodontitis, loss of two upper molars, and needing two scaling and root planings. As such I have been on a management plan and meticulous documenting of my root exposure for the past 16 years by having my teeth cleaned 3 times a year. Before switching to the Rev, my hygienist would usually take at least 20 minutes to fully chip and scrape the tartar off my teeth with the cavitron and manual scraping, and any time I went beyond 4 months for a cleaning, it was rough on her (and me). The last trip to the dentist was 6 1/2 months from the previous, but I had been using the Rev the entire time on the medium setting. My hygienist remarked that the tartar buildup was less than a normal 4 month span, and it took her less than 15 minutes to scrape my teeth. Both my hygienist and dentist were astonished by the results and I made sure they knew what I was using. I have another appointment next month and I have a feeling my hygienist will have less work to do this time around as I have been using the most aggressive setting. I have noticed the lack of usual buildup by this time. TL;DR: IMO, the Rev is the best product quip has in its lineup and I would especially recommend it to anyone who has abnormal tartar buildup and/or has borderline gum disease. You can't beat this type of cleaning for the price!

It stopped working. I attempted to charge it to see if that was the problem, but no luck. When I press the button, it just changes colors but doesn't rotate or do anything else. I'm really disappointed since it cost $50.

Hate this brush. No matter how much you clean it, gross gunk comes out the back hole of it. Bad design. My whole family has this issue.
