KitchenAid 2-Slice Toaster with manual lift lever, KMT2115

I’ve been using it for a month now and it’s just ok!’ It’s honestly pretty disappointing for the price. It always tends to burn one side of the bread. Not too happy with it!

Works very well. I wish the "done" beep were not so loud.

Bought to match other appliances. It only toasts about 3/4 of each bread slice regardless of bread thickness. To get a full toasted slice I must toast twice. Toast once then flip bread upside down and toast again. It doesn't matter if I toast 1 slice or 2. I would not buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this a month. I will keep it for now. I was disappointed that it doesn't toast evening on both sides. One side is always darker than the other and I always double check to make sure the bagel button is off. Other than that it is very sturdy and easy to clean. Looks great in my kitchen.

After 7 years one heating element may be going out. One side of bread toasts lighter than other side. Like bagel feature

One downside is that it makes a high-pitched beep when done toasting and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn off the sound. We live in a small space with bedrooms next to the open kitchen. The toaster has served as an unwanted alarm clock when one person gets up earlier than the others: BEEEEEEEP! I couldn't find any mention of the sound in the manual, but someone on YouTube has a video about disabling it on a different model. KitchenAid, please make the beep optional, unless that drives up the price. Personally I would just eliminate it. A silent version of this toaster would earn 5 stars from me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our second Kitchenaid toaster in the past 21-years. Quite pleased with the toasters overall, but disappointed in the plastic handle on the crumb trays. We had two plastic handles separate (cook) from the metal crumb trays on the original unit and the current unit still has the same arrangement. The "lift" feature and "cancel" button are great improvements and continuing the "Empire Red" option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve bought 2 Kitchenaid stand mixers and the handheld mixer which I have absolutely loved. When I started looking to buy a toaster I didn’t think twice about buying a Kitchenaid brand. However I am a little disappointed in the toasting method. It’s very difficult to get the right amount of toasting to your bread from the dial. It’s either too light or too dark. Also only one side toasts not both even though I’m using the toast button no bagel. And the the material seems to be a little more less quality than I’m used to in Kitchenaid products and since I toast a lot I’m not sure how well it will hold up.
