KitchenAid 2-Slice Toaster with manual lift lever, KMT2115

I purchased this toaster because I wanted or thought I was buying quality. It so happens it toasts the same as the brand i replaced it with that I paid 1/2 the price for. I have to pop the bread up 1/2 way through & turn it upside down to toast evenly. It burns one side of English muffins & the other side is lightly toasted. I have purchased 3 kitchen aid stand mixers, actually 4 stand mixers, gave one a long time ago as a gift, 1 hand mixer & now 2 toasters. I’ve been pretty loyal but now not so much with the toaster. Toaster is very disappointing for the price I paid.

An excellent toaster! There is even browning on both sides of the bread. I love the tone that let's me know the toast is ready. It's sleek and a definite upgrade from my previous 15 year old toaster!

I bought this in August of 2025. The missing link! This will finish our kitchen appliance makeover and give us the full matching-brand vibe. Works really well and we love it!

It's okay, still getting use to it but the cord is too short.

Do not buy this toaster, it's garbage. I had a similar toaster from kitchen aide for years. It wasn't toasting evenly anymore so I replaced it with this one. You would think a company like this could master the most basic kitchen appliance. It either burns one side or the other, doesn't toast one or the other at all, bagel function has zero affect. You never know what it's going to do, not toast at all, toast one side only ( while not on bagel), or burn one side to a crisp. It's a complete waste of money.

I bought this and it only toasted on one side and that was only on half of the bread, and no I didn’t have the bagel button on. I contacted the company and they send me a new one again only to have this one do the same thing. I’m done.

I’m so sad to write an unsatisfactory review regarding a Kitchenaid appliance BUT…this toaster just isn’t good. It is so very slow. I have to get the toaster going and then begin to cook the eggs. The eggs finish and the roaster is still toasting. I’ve wondered if I have a “lemon”. It’s too late to return it but I just wanted to give my report. I’m going to pitch it and buy a different brand.

Also, I have never owned a toaster that beeps when it has completed its cycle. I am still deciding if I like this feature or not. Overall, I would highly recommend any KitchenAid product as I own several myself
