Not Happy
I bought this and it only toasted on one side and that was only on half of the bread, and no I didn’t have the bagel button on. I contacted the company and they send me a new one again only to have this one do the same thing. I’m done.

I’m looking to replace this toaster
I’m so sad to write an unsatisfactory review regarding a Kitchenaid appliance BUT…this toaster just isn’t good. It is so very slow. I have to get the toaster going and then begin to cook the eggs. The eggs finish and the roaster is still toasting. I’ve wondered if I have a “lemon”. It’s too late to return it but I just wanted to give my report. I’m going to pitch it and buy a different brand.

Also, I have never owned a toaster that beeps when it has completed its cycle. I am still deciding if I like this feature or not. Worst toaster I have ever had.
Bought this 2 years ago to replace KitchenAid toaster that I had owned for 20 years. Toaster just can’t seem to make up its mind how badly to burn the bread no matter the setting. Should have tossed it months ago but am afraid that the next toaster wouldn’t be an improvement. Besides, I’m getting used to scraping the black off my toast. I really think it builds character. Guessing “They just don’t make them like they used to.” is true.

good toast, horrible ALARM.
This toaster toasts pretty well for me and the extra wide slots are nice for bagels and odd size bread. HOWEVER- THERE IS A VERY LOUD !BEEP! when done toasting that wakes my whole house up and gives me a panic attack. I mean this thig is LOUD. whoever designed that feature needs to re-evaluate their career. I'm really disappointed.
