great primer
I bought 2 of this a month ago and one bottle is lasting me a long time. Im only half way through. It is water based, but it has silicone ingredients. I use silicone base products, but I make sure everything is dry before I apply foundation. I live in a very humid area and I produce a lot of oil. This product stays matte for up to 4 hours, which is not bad. It is very thick though.

A good Primer!
I’ve been using the Power Grip Matte Primer for a while now, and honestly, I really like it! The texture feels super sticky at first, but that’s exactly what helps my makeup stay in place all day. It grips the foundation really well, and I noticed that my skin looks smoother after applying it. I also love that it gives a soft matte finish without drying out my skin, which is great because my skin tends to get a bit dry. It controls shine in the T-zone, but still keeps everything looking natural, not flat or cakey. Overall, it’s a solid primer, especially for the price. If you like long-lasting makeup with a matte but not heavy look, this one is totally worth it!

By far my favorite primer
This is by far my favorite ELF primer. Stays on all day without making my skin look oily or dewy. I have oily skin and this is often an issue for me when using primer. I definitely recommend this for all day flawless wear!

I feel like you don’t need much but also need a good amount to cover your face and feel like it’s enough. The finish is tacky but smooth so a good base to start. I felt like my makeup still didn’t hold up as I would hope but i still thought it was a good primer and wasn’t patchy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has a great consistency, very gel like and sticky. Makes for a great base to apply makeup onto. One of the best primers I’ve used and will be buying more when this finishes. If your makeup shifts or doesn’t last long I don’t think it isn’t due to this primer. No scent. A little goes a long way.
