I've been using this for about a week and so far, it's great for keeping me matte! It is sticky on application, but pats in well and dries in about 30 seconds for makeup application. I like it!

I loved the regular power grip primer but this was not it…When you apply it, there are some spots that get SO patchy and caked looking. Under the eyes were the worst… When you inevitably blend out from your under eyes or to your neck, the areas where primer was applied at the edge of a facial feature seem to cake so badly. Switching between a thin layer of primer or huge globs didn’t matter. I applied a full face this morning, looked at myself, cleaned it off, and then redid my beat without primer and it looks ten times better. I should’ve taken photos with primer on bc what the heck.

When I use it my make up lasts the entire night. A little bit goes a long way and the price point and quality is just unbeatable. The only downside for me is that every time I use it I have a breakout even after removing it and making sure to wash my face with the same skincare as usual

Very Effective for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really shocked to find that I fell in love with the E.L.F power grip primer. I was always suspicious of sticky and grippy primers, however, I was proved wrong after my first use after I apply the primer all over to my face, it will feel tacky to the touch and I allow it to drive for at least 30 seconds before applying any other makeup. I have very sensitive skin and there is no scent that bothers me, some most importantly, this doesn’t break me out! I can see a clear difference that my make up lasts a lot longer throughout the day and makes my skin appear dewy, versus other primers I have used in the past. I would definitely consider purchasing and recommending to friends, especially with its low price point.
