A: Heavily fragranced. I placed it in BUT turned it OFF and my asthma and allergies got out of control. Still releases a smell. I removed the whole thing and still smells when vacuuming. I am returning it

A: The odor dial cover needs to be installed for the vacuum to function properly. If you do not wish to use the odor neutralizer technology system, please follow the below steps: Remove the odor dial from the nozzle. Flip up the handle and rotate the dial clockwise until the two teal arrows are aligned. Pull the handle to lift the dial out of the nozzle. Remove the odor cartridge by rotating the cartridge counterclockwise in the dial housing and pull out the cartridge. Install the dial cover back into the nozzle without the cartridge. Align the teal arrow on the dial cover with the teal arrow on the nozzle, then reinsert the dial cover into the nozzle. To lock, rotate the cover counterclockwise until it clicks into place. Dispose of cartridge by dropping it in the trash.

I was worried because I never used a Shark. But after using it a couple of times I’m sold on it. I only wish the receptacle that collects the dirt was bigger. But other than that it’s very good! Powerful and detects of floor or carpet. Perfection!

I bought this a month ago and I am so happy with this vacuum! I have a very hairy chow whose fur has killed more than one vacuum. This Shark isn’t even slowed down by the fur! I can vacuum without fear of clogging the unit up my carpets and floors have never been as clean and fur free! Love my Shark

I think many of us who do buy the products could really help as far as what specifications the general consumer wants. Overall, I regret this purchase. the vacuum doesn't do well at edges, dust quickly blocks space between rollers. Cord is horrible, I should have listened to reviews. Pet hair tool never worked. Attachments keep falling off as you are vacuuming. I wasted money I don't have, very disappointed. Contacting warranty is so complicated, I have been going in circles.

Hair does get stuck in the soft roller. Also there is no light on the handle when you take the base off to get the ceiling and in corners.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it! Not too heavy for a senior citizen. It was out of stock for a while and I was wondering if it was ever going to be available again. Then finally I received an email (that I signed up for) saying that it was back in stock if I still wanted it. I jumped on it very quickly. I looked online and it still said out of stock so I assumed that once they took care of all the waiting customers that status would change. I originally was just looking for a new bare floor head for my current Shark vacuum but it was out of stock too. I went uggg. But as the saying goes, all good things come to those who wait in which is what I did. So anyways, I love, love my new corded stick Shark vacuum and the new Shark bare floor head for my old Shark. I definitely should be good to go for some time. Thank you Shark Vacuum for taking care of me.

My daughter purchased this for use in her apartment and she absolutely loves it. She is petite and thus wanted a smaller size. This stick vacuum is small but mighty!! Plenty of suction and versatility to handle both carpets and bare floors. Great vacuum!!!

I do like this lightweight, compact vacuum. I would say it performs expertly! My two critiques are that the wheels don’t swivel and the cord is so stiff. Both of this things make it more cumbersome, in my opinion. I thought the cord would relax over time, but I’ve had the vacuum a few months now, and I do struggle with it! I opted for the corded vacuum because I need the vacuum when I need it, not just when its battery is charged. Overall, good purchase. It does handle my multi pet home , which is my main concern.

I’m not in love but I’m trying. I purchased this vacuum to replace my old faithful shark that I’ve loved for more than 5 years. I was looking for something that was light weight and easier to store than my old upright vacuum but also something that picks up pet hair. This vacuum seemed to be what would fit all my needs. I do love how light weight and how it stores so easily, it picks up hair quickly but any thing much more and it’s turns red and stops. I accidentally ran over a small item in the first week of owning it and it caused a dent in the blade. I live in a small 400 sq ft house and have to empty the canister 3 or 4 times - which could mean it picks up good but I honestly think it’s just because it’s so small. Again, I’m just used to my stand up vacuum and I don’t mind emptying more if it’s working good. I’ve already had to clear several clogs, I VERY rarely had to do that with my old shark. I was really excited for this new vacuum and I’m just not super happy and bummed I spent so much money for something that doesn’t work well for our situation.

I DO LIKE THIS MODEL. IT IS THE THIRD SHARK vacuum that I have owned, and used for both commercial and residential use. The one thing that I noticed is when pulling backwards, the sponge roller in the front of the vacuum shoots hard objects, example chocolate chips, backwards rather than ending up in the dust cup. I have not had this happen before but the other features are fantastic....The edge features and the best part, it stands by itself.....Very happy over all.. !!!

This vacuum has exceeded my expectations. I'm so picky and like to have a vacuum that does it all. This vacuum picks up everything from small particles like dust to chunks of hair. With my old vacuum it took me a long time to get the dog hair out of my area rugs, with this it makes my rugs look new it even pi is up dander. I love the attachments. I want to order more because this is the first vacuum that I have loved. Run don't walk to get this new shark.

PROS: This vacuum does a great job of picking up dust, dog hair, etc. It's very light and easy to use. CONS: The dust bin is woefully inadequate for anyone who has pets that shed. Also, the handle design negatively impacts the ease of vacuuming underneath furniture. I absolutely loved the model I previously had; it had a handle design that made it easy to reach under furniture. Alas, that model is no longer made. Sure wish they'd have had me home test this model while it was in design; this model could have benefited from more user input.

LOVE the color purple! More importantly, the maneuvering aspect is incredible, the suction is amazing, the self-propulsion on the carpet is AWESOME and overall, a dream to use! Emptying of the cup is super easy and for the price - I just couldn't ask for a better vacuum. As a former Rainbow cleaning system user, in my advancing age, this stick vacuum has raised the bar on cleaning!

I purchased this vacuum and it’s great. I love how it maneuvers easily and the dust and dirt pick up is unbelievable. You’ll capture dirt and dust that’s not visibly seen. My only negative is that the dust bin cup is small and requires frequent emptying. Maybe after using regularly it won’t be as much collection as with the initial use. I recommend this purchase. I’ve owned for two weeks now and no issues.

Product works great. Like that it stands up. Disappointed that the “hand held device” does not have a light to use for detailed cleaning & the pet tool provided isn’t great. The light is on the base. I own an older Rocket Duo & I assumed that the “Detect Hand Held” would also have a light. Also, for the price, I thought it should have come with an accessory storage bag. I purchased online using a discount. Tried to order a storage bag, but website would only apply the discount to the lower priced item. If not for the light issue, I would have gave it a 5 star rating.

I bought this sweeper several months ago and I do like it. It’s lightweight. It gets the carpet clean great for bare floors. Picks up pet hair great also. However I got to say the cord is junk it’s a hard plastic and very hard to work with. I also don’t like how the cord comes out of the top of the handle, it should come out the end or bottom of the handle. My other sharks the wiring pulled out when trying to wind up the cord. However with this cord there is no winding up the cord because it’s so stiff.The cord needs to be made out of a soft rubber and more flexible.
