A: Absolutely, Eve. The WetJet Wood is safe to use on finished hardwood and bamboo, ceramic, laminate, linoleum and vinyl floors. It's safe for sealed granite and marble floors. Contact the manufacturer of the floor for any questions or test on a hidden area of the floor before use. Use only on sealed, finished flooring. A: If you have our newer model, the battery compartment will be on the lighter purple section, opposite the bottle compartment. To open the battery compartment, push the area with the arrow UP.

Q: My swiffer Wet Jet is at least 10-15 years old. I tried to use it today and it won't work. New batteries put in right, primed it for 5 seconds, squeezed the bottle. Time for a new one?

It has been working on and off. Always changing the batteries, checking that the nozzles are not clogged (no, they are not!) and now it just quit working. Waste a money! Very disappointed because I used it on my wooden floor and was satisfied... until I had to remove and replace the bottle, check batteries all the time and spray became more and more irregular, until nothing comes out. Now I use the liquid in an external spray bottle!!!

WORTHLESS, DOES NOT CLEAN EVEN TILE. Waste of money, pads are useless. Using wet paper towel AFTER using Swiffer was 1,000 % cleaner. Mop and pads do not clean! Horrible! See photos of using paper towel in very small area AFTER using mop and their spray mop. Look at photos paper towel AFTER using mop very very small area.

I love how convenient and easy it us to use this product but I feel like it’s mostly only for quick clean ups. I don’t feel like it actually cleans my floors. Sometimes I feel it leaves a weird residue on my floors but it’s great for those quick clean ups.

I love this product. I have a chronic illness that affects my joints and can’t carry around a mop and bucket of water so this is perfect. It’s not to heavy and I can grab it quickly and easily to do a quick clean. It’s safe to use if you have pets and it dries really quickly! Nothing worse than wet socks right!

Our Swiffer WetJet stopped working after we bought the blue color replacement bottle, the original bottle was brown. The spray motor does not work in spite of replacing the batteries. The Swiffer is used a few times to finish the original brown color bottle and now it is a junk. We do not recommend this product.

You do realize that all's this does is push the dirt around. Yes, it will pick up dust, dog hair and other surface dirt, but as far as actually cleaning your floors? It is a bust. I used this and thought the floors still didn't look as bright as I usually got them. So I took a scrub brush and washed the same area I had just "swiffered". It was a noticeable difference. So other than getting a little exercise from pushing this thing around, it did nothing. It does not get down deep to clean your floors. Thats just marketing dedigned to get you to buy it.

I have owned a wet jet for years. Had to buy a new one. Went to replace bottle and won't spray. I changed batteries and still didn't work. Sounds like motor is .going. Not very happy and not going to waste money buying a new one.

I must admit that the solution does smell nice. It doesn’t clean as well as washing by hand or with sponge mop. The baseboards must be cleaned separately by hand which increases the time and effort required to clean. My biggest complaint is that I have used the WetJet only about 8 times and now it won’t spray the solution. I have a new solution bottle installed and new batteries, which I have tested to ensure they are fully charged. Nothing. I think I have wasted my money on the unit and the solution.

Don’t waste your money. The original bottle that comes with the mop cannot be refilled and the large bottle you need to buy makes the mop very heavy to use. It doesn’t produce a good finish. And after only six months, ours has packed up completely. Changed the batteries. Nothing.
