Buy this if you like smelly fish water
Water filtered through this product smells like fish when boiled. Blacks flecks from the filter will occassionally float around in the filter tank. This product won't do what you want it to.

Product is nice and looks of great quality 10. The water filtered by this makes my stomach very upset, stomach cramps, acid problems and bloating . I don’t think it filters out all chemicals. I had to replace immediately with bottled water

Purifier isn't filtering, the water is stuck
Hasn't worked consistently, which is surprising and disappointing. Have tried rinsing filter upside down to loosen anything possibly stuck. Have tried shaking the filter many different times like before filling with water. Have tried adjusting to make sure it is screwed in properly. But the water just sits and doesn't get filtered. Really wanted it to work because it's just what we need, I researched the water quality compared to other brands, and the slim profile is great. But it's getting returned.

I had one of these dispensers before. After a couple of years a piece broke on it so it was time for a replacement. I love it for the amount of water that it holds and I am not having to fill a pitcher everyday. I use it for my drinking water and water for my keurig, but I also use it for my dogs. I appreciate the light indicator letting you know when you are nearing time for a needed replacement filter. Is it accurate? I have never kept tabs on the amount of water I use for each filter so I can’t say if it meets what PUR says it is good for or not in terms of volume, but it does tend to last me about 2 months. I ordered online, got a great deal, and target had it ready for me to pick up extremely fast. I highly recommend.

I love this!!
Not sure about the other reviews but mine works just fine and the water does taste pure ie pur. I believe a lot of the bad reviews may come from human error. Albeit the instructions can be overlooked if you’re not looking for them. I read everything so I was looking for them. You have to soak that filter for 15 minutes before your first use and Everytime you change it. Otherwise it will take hours on end to filter the water. I refilled mine once in 30 minutes and my entire pitcher was full of fresh water. I had the brita faucet and pitchers and I’ll stick with pur everything.

Nothing but issues with the filters beginning shortly after 30 days when unit and filters were under warranty. Tried troubleshooting and a second filter. Stick with another brand! 20+ years of Britta with no issues like this.
