I think over all this is a better product than most because you are getting the iron from natural sources but I will say since it doesn’t have any of that artificial codings on it it has a strong iron taste almost immediately. Over all though I would recommend this product over store brand pills.

This iron has helped bring my levels up and NEVER upsets my stomach:) (I do take it with food, though, just in case.) I used it daily until my iron levels came up, and now just use it during my monthly cycle, and when I am low on energy. I suggest this product to customers looking for a gentle, effective iron.

My daughter and I are trying these for the first time starting today. My ferritin is 11 (storage iron) but my hemoglobin is normal level 13 (circulating iron). I will come back and update in 8 weeks to see if this product increases my ferritin. First impressions: I took it in the morning on an empty stomach with water and waited an hour before eating or drinking anything else. I had no stomach issues which was nice as I usually don’t tolerate iron supplements very well. My daughter took after a meal with fresh squeezed orange juice and she also experienced no stomach issues. Just to throw another recommendation out there for those that may struggle with iron supplementation due to absorption issues or digestive disturbances…Floravital by Floradix is also really good as well (instant energy boost when consumed with fresh squeezed orange juice on an empty stomach) it’s just expensive, stains teeth, messy, taste like you’re consuming grape flavored pennies (lol 🤣) can be hard to find, needs to be refrigerated and used within 30 days of opening so I was in the market for an alternative just in case I can’t get Floravital (gluten and yeast free version). I will come back and update my review in a couple months and display my new ferritin levels.

The Blood Builder iron supplement was suggested to me by a mutual patient of my PCP. I am a blood donor but am often prevented from donating due to low hemoglobin, especially since I don't eat red meat. I don't experience any side effects which I think is due to the "food" component of the supplement. I also like the fact that it contains vitamins C and B12 as well as folate. Last time I went to donate blood I was way above the cutoff at an all-time record for me ;-). I've told friends about it who also struggle with low hemoglobin, and they have also met with success with blood donation! I am so happy with this product and friends are too!
