high density, low porosity, 4c girlie here. this definitely does clean my hair, but it also tangles pretty badly. not sure clean hair is worth the knots. I use a pretty good strangling brush and moisturizing conditioner and it's still pretty difficult to get my hair detangled. not for me.

Amazing - transformed my hair in one wash
This shampoo is really worth it. It removed so much buildup and balanced my hair and scalp. My hair instantly felt lighter, smoother and more manageable. Lately I was previously having to wash my hair every 2-3 days, my roots would get greasy, and my scalp would get flaky and itchy. After using this shampoo I have now gone 5 days without a wash and wearing my hair down, with no flakes or grease!

I love the subtle scent, and love that apple cider vinegar is the main ingredient to clarify my scalp. It cleans up my hair very well leaving my hair clean and bouncy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo cleans really well and smells great – that rose scent is lovely. But for my hair type, it’s just not a good match. My hair is already dry and frizzy, and after using this, it feels even more dry and frizzy. I think this shampoo is better for people with oily hair or lots of product buildup. If you have dry or damaged hair like mine, this might be too stripping. It works as intended, just not for me.
