A: No, primers are generally for underneath makeup. You want a fixing/setting spray. The e.l.f. setting spray is pretty decent, so I'd recommend giving that a try.

All the good things you've heard about this primer are true. To me this is the one to use when my skin is uneven, bumpy, or whatever other issue. Always smoothes over, creates a new layer that doesn't feel thick and yet makes my makeup look super smooth. Plays the staying power is really something. I can really tell the longevity of my makeup is much better when using the primer underneath. I put sunscreen over it and it works great still.

I started using this brand/product from a free sample I received online. I had the pink one, i legit used the whole thing. After running out I decided to get this size along with the setting spray and it’s not a miss. I use it every time I do my makeup. And it last long too

I wouldn’t say it’s terrible or it’s good. It’s genuinely just a filler product for me. I do think it makes the skin nice and dewy to lay your makeup on and can make it last longer but at times it can cause heavy separation, piling, patchiness. Sometimes it eats but sometimes it makes the makeup worse.
