Good grip but takes some technique
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked how this primer kept my makeup looking fresh throughout the day. Once everything finally set properly, my BB cream stayed in place and looked smooth for hours without separating or fading. My challenge was during application. I followed the directions, applied the Power Grip Primer, waited about 30 seconds and then used my BB cream (Miracle Skin Perfector). At first the makeup applied unevenly and became slightly micro-crumbly, almost like it was pilling. I had to spend extra time blending and really working it into the skin to smooth everything out. What helped me: - use a very thin layer of primer - let it become tacky, not fully dry - press or pat foundation/ BB cream on instead of rubbing immediately - using less product overall gives a smoother finish After I adjusted the application the primer performed great and really helped my makeup last all day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the e.l.f power grip primer for a few days now, and it really helps my makeup stay in place much longer throughout the day.the texture is slightly tacky at first, which is exactly what makes foundation and concealer grip so well onto the skin The tone is clear so it blends into the skin without leaving any white cast or changing the color of my makeup which I really like For sensitivity my skin can be a little reactive with some primers but this one didn’t cause irritation redness or breakouts .it felt lightweight and comfortable all day The scent is very minimal almost fragrance free which is perfect if you don’t like heavily scented face products

You don't need a whole lot to get that grippy effect that your make up holds on to. I don't notice any pilling from the formula. This primer helps to keep my make up looking fresh, as opposed to not wearing a primer underneath. I recommend!
