Mixer stopped working
My mixer stopped spinning during my 2nd time using it. It won’t even turn on and I tried with different outlets. I purchased this in December 2025. So disappointing. Now I have to haul this big heavy box to drop off for a replacement because Target won’t sent out a replacement until I drop this thing off first.

Doesn't Work
Just like all the other reviews, you get a used product that doesn’t work. If you try to get a replacement, it is also one that was returned because it doesn’t work. They just keep sending out returned mixers that do not work. I got the Agave color.

Buyer beware--Target is not return-friendly
I can’t seem to get any resolution via the target.com chat or by phone. I purchased this kitchenaid mixer for my daughter for Christmas. It did not work. She wanted the exact color, which was not available near her, so we opted to ship it back and await a replacement. Target received the item 1/6. No communication. Checked the app 1/11 and it said my return was declined. I called to find out why and they told me because the item came from an address that wasn’t mine and to wait 5-7 days for the item to be shipped. 1/14 called to check status and was told that whoever helped me on 1/11 didn’t actually do anything and the 5-7 days started then. Chatted today and they told me another 5-7 days. This is not acceptable. No original item. No replacement item. No refund. How do I reach someone to resolve this? I definitely would not recommend that anyone purchase big-ticket items from Target.

Bought this mixer for myself as a holiday gift. First time I used it I noticed the whole bowl and lift mechanism is exstreamly loose and the bowl wobbles a lot. The bowl is in lock and the lift mechanism is in locked. The part that attached to the body is what is loose. I tried calling Kitchenaid customer service. Took me two days to talk to someone who said I had to talk to another department. when she transfered me the phone said it was overa 2 hour wait. I sadly do not have time to wait 2 hours on the phone to talk to someone. Very Upsetting.

I was excited to buy this item and use it but I was really disappointed on my first use. While I was mixing the bread dough I have to throw it away because the paint on the tool was peeled.

I have had a 4qt Kitchenaid mixer for 10+ years that has been well loved and still works great. I wanted to move up to a larger bowl size in order to make bigger batches at once so we decided on this 5.5 qt mixer. I used it one time for a cookie batter and the motor died within 30 seconds of starting up. I exchanged the broken one for a new one and was excited to try making cookies again. The 2nd one died within 10 seconds. Very disappointed in how much the quality of these stand mixers has dropped! I will be returning the 2nd one and going back to my old faithful Kitchenaid stand mixer.

Great time and body saver

I have a very micro bakery and what used to take over an hour todo I can now complete in half the time. I have fibromyalgia so it saves my arms, neck and shoulders from hurting so much. I will have to get the pouring shield as it seems to be messy getting dry ingredients in once the bowl is locked in.
