Description
TDS stand for total dissolved solids, which includes salt, metal or mineral in the water. A TDS meter is an easy to use hand-held digital meter to instantly check your overall water quality. It allows you to stay on top of your drinking water quality at all times! with the push of a button, the TDS meter can tell you your overall water purity level, which will be displayed on the screen measured in parts per million (ppm). the lower the number showing on the TDS meter means the purer the water quality, with 0 ppm being perfect and pure water.

Poor instructions
Not very clear what the reading means when you get it. The instructions don’t tell you much about what the reading means.

Great water quality
This is a great reverse osmosis system. We have a well and it took my dissolved solids down from 323 to 22. It was easy to install, took a little over an hour, and really improved the taste of our coffee and ice cubes. We feel much safer drinking out water now.

It was great to get the tester because it showed me that I did not have to change the filters so soon.
