Good filter cartridge, poor quality TDS tester
The water filter cartridge itself is just like always — it works well and I have no complaints about the filtration quality. I’ve used this type before and it performs as expected. However, the included TDS tester is very low quality. The battery does not stay in place and keeps popping out, which makes the tester unreliable and frustrating to use. Because of this issue, I can’t properly trust the readings. Overall, the filter cartridge is good, but the TDS tester needs better build quality.

Poor instructions
Not very clear what the reading means when you get it. The instructions don’t tell you much about what the reading means.

Great water quality
This is a great reverse osmosis system. We have a well and it took my dissolved solids down from 323 to 22. It was easy to install, took a little over an hour, and really improved the taste of our coffee and ice cubes. We feel much safer drinking out water now.

It was great to get the tester because it showed me that I did not have to change the filters so soon.
