A: Thank you for your question. While SMOOTH is recommended for wavy and frizzy hair, it is not specifically designed to straighten hair. It helps reduce frizz, define curls, and add soft shape and shine, especially for curly, wavy, or difficult-to-manage hair. For styling, we suggest using SLEEK HOLD Hairspray, which offers a versatile, buildable hold suitable for both every day and more polished looks.

Our CURL DEFINE line is a supportive formula containing hydrating Peptides and gentle natural ingredients such as Coconut Oil to tame frizz and enhance the natural shape of curls/ waves —while nourishing and strengthening hair and so we recommend our CURL DEFINE line for your hair type and hair needs.

A: Hi there, all our bottles are made from 100% recyclable HDPE plastic, and our pumps use recyclable PP material, so they can be placed in your regular plastic recycling bins and kept out of landfill. (Just be sure to rinse them out in the shower first!) Our bottles are also made from 20% recycled plastic, and we’re actively working to increase that percentage. While refillable pouches aren’t part of our range yet, we’re developing them to use up to 80% less plastic than a new bottle. A: Hi Sara, all MONDAY formulations except SMOOTH are gluten free. Our SMOOTH line includes wheat protein, which helps lock in moisture, smoothes frizz and defines curls and assists in the smoothing of frizz and breakage often caused by fibre damage. We recommend trying another line from our range if you’re intolerant to gluten.

Our SMOOTH Shampoo contains active ingredients, Wheat Protein and gentle naturals such as Avocado Oil to provide soft shape and shine for all hair types—especially those that are curly, wavy, frizzy or typically hard to manage. However, we'd suggest you pair it with our VOLUME Conditioner which contains active ingredients, Hydrolyzed Collagen and replenishing naturals such as Coconut Oil, Shea Butter and Macadamia Oil to lightly hydrate thin, fine and flat hair. A: Hi there, our formulas contain a fragrance based on gardenia! We’ve also snuck in an array of ingredients (including ginger root extract) which, along with having other benefits, subtly add to the smell. Hope this is helpful.

A: Hi Makenzie, thanks for your question. We’ve received really great feedback from people with color-treated hair about MONDAY. It is safe to use, but our GENTLE line has the most mild cleansing system of all of our ranges, and also has the lowest percentage of fragrance, so has the lowest chance of your color fading unnecessarily. A: Hi there, we generally recommend either SMOOTH or MOISTURE, as those have been formulated for hair that needs a little extra moisture and shape and they’re typically the favourite for people with curly hair types.
