Comparing Ultra Buds with QC3
bought the Ultra Buds as I thought I'd lost me QC3 buds. So have been comparing them, and would say very very little difference, other than for some inexplicable reason the Ultra Buds connect much easier to my iphone. Sound cancelling is amazing, sound quality typical Bose - just fantastic, not sure what the benefits of immersive sound is. Its works exactly as supposed to, but why do you want the sound to move from ear to ear as you turn your head. Seems more like a gimmick. I am using the Ultra Buds more than the QC3, only because I like the styling better.

Good but not substancially better than previous.
Upgraded from Quiet Comfort and really don't see all that much difference. They are good, just not that much better than my old ones. The different sized ear adjusters could do to one more size larger

Waste of money!
Purchased a few weeks ago. I had a pair of 1st gen QC earbuds which got stolen. Replaced them with these 2nd gen earbuds which do not connect well with my laptop. Sound is intermittent. I tried everything to solve the issue but to no avail.

Mind is not blown
My mind is not blown. I had expected it to be blown with such an expensive purchase from Bose. 1. The noise canceling is up-to 75% 2. After equalizer adjustments I could get the sound quality/experience to a good level In general I think I had built it up to be too good in my mind. I was saving up to buy these headphones.

Hi, thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you were able to adjust the equalizer to achieve a good sound quality and listening experience. We’re sorry to hear that the noise cancelling performance didn’t fully meet your expectations. The QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) are designed to deliver immersive audio with advanced noise cancellation, but we understand that experiences can vary depending on environment and personal expectations. Your input is valuable and helps us continue improving both performance and usability. The noise cancellation in your earbuds can be set higher or lower. This is useful in environments where you want to hear more or less of the sound around you. The dynamic noise cancellation of Aware Mode with ActiveSense technology allows you to hear your surroundings while reducing unwanted noise. You can adjust the noise cancellation anywhere from 0% to 100%, or even turn it off completely. You also have the option to create a custom mode tailored to your needs. For step‑by‑step instructions and more details about the adjustable Active Noise Cancellation mode, please refer to our online guide: https://bose.life/4u9OC5X We hope these guides help you enhance the product’s performance so you can continue enjoying it at its best. Sounds Great!
Ears buds sound great especially when listen to music. I usually use them for phone use. But I do have one issue which is I have small ears and after about an hour they start to hurt. Other than that, they are great.

Too many frustrating issues.
I am actually returning these for several reasons. 1. The ergonomics are off on these. I dropped 3 times in first week due to weird shape of case. Additionally, they are hard to pull out of case as there is no real place to grip them easily. 2. Functionality is not good. The ear piece is long and you are supposed to be able to change volume by sliding finder up and down but this will be mistaken for a long touch which will change mode from quiet to immersed to aware every time by accident. 3. Tap for start stop double tap for skip next has no confirmation sound (could be a setting, I never really looked) and feels delayed, never knowing if I tapped it correctly for the response I wanted. 4. Too sensitive, numerous time, my hair, or accidental touch of shoulder has stopped music. I have had them about a month and three times they would not hook up or be recognized by my phone eventhough paired. Today, it said the battery was dead, I plugged case in and immediately turned white indicating charged, had to unpair, repair, and in the middle of my workout, the right one quit working. It's a shame because the sound quality and noise canceling is amazing 😞

Hi Dave, thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the sound quality and noise‑canceling performance, and we truly value your input. We’ll make sure to share your experience with our product team so they can consider improvements for future designs. We’d also be happy to help you resolve the issue with the touch controls. These can be customized through the Bose app, allowing you to adjust the sensitivity and functions to better suit your preferences. Proper wearing of the earbuds can also help avoid sudden changes of mode while listening to music. For reference, the touch surface is located on the outer surface of both earbuds. It controls media playback, volume, phone calls, noise cancellation, and your Shortcut. Here’s a helpful guide that walks you through customizing and using these features more effectively. Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen)
These earbuds have an excellent noise cancelling facility, however the app only works with Android 13 or above. As I bought my phone 4 years ago the app will not work. It is disappointing that Bose was so short-sighted in developing an app that needs a more recent version of Android - Windows 11 will run apps that I bought several years ago and Bose should ensure their apps do the same. For this reason, I won't buy any more devices from Bose that require an app. The app is why I've only given a 3 star rating.
