A: You keep the water in it so it’s there and ready to keep brewing coffee. You don’t brew 35 onces at once.

Q: Why when using pods do I get straight coffee grounds in my cup? It pierces the top and bottom of the pod so the grounds go straight into my cup while brewing. Help because I am not happy with this.

This is the worst coffee maker I have ever owned. I contacted the company and they won't even help. It screeches loudly and I have descaled it more times than I know. The light goes on and off and I can't get a cup of coffee. The Made by Gather company is horrible. Don't buy it.

Disappointment
I bought this in January 2025 from Target and it stopped working completely by July 2026. I have tried every troubleshooting technique the site offers with no success. If you want a cheaply made coffee maker that will barely last a year and a half this item is for you.

Hotel coffee maker
So far it’s works most of the time. It does make a mess when the k-cup doesn’t work right. I don’t love putting water in every cup. It’s a challenge to make good coffee with the right amount of water and coffee every time.

Small spaces
I bought the coffee pot, can opener and slim toaster. It gives me a lot more space on my countertop. I’ve only used them for a week so far every thing has worked nicely.

Do not purchase..
I purchased mine about 6 months ago and it’s already malfunctioning. It stops brewing after a few drops while making a loud whistling sound. The biggest issue I’ve had is getting the manufacturer and Target to help me with the warranty. It is covered for atleast 2 yrs but getting the manufacturer to actually respond other than an automated email saying to wait they received my complaint yet it’s been 2 weeks of waiting. My guess is they’ll take 2 yrs to respond and claim the warranty expired. Target is useless, as long as they have your money and it’s past the 30 days they care less about you.

I bought this brewer eight months ago and as of today it is broken. At first it was a perfectly fine brewer, nothing extraordinary but it got the job done. Over the past month or so I’ve noticed it’s been struggling to brew, even after extensively cleaning it it continued to struggle. This brewer is a good short term investment if you’re just looking for something to tie you over until you can afford a more expensive one. Or if you only plan on needing it for a short time.

I made the mistake of buying this coffee maker twice and both times it stopped working a few months after purchase, but just after the return window so I am stuck with a broken machine and wasted money.
