Excellent primer . I love the smell of this and I wear it underneath my COVERGIRL 3-1 simply ageless liquid foundation. In Buff Beige . I also sometimes wear it on its own . This helps my foundation wear all day and keeps my skin healthy and glowing. I hope COVERGIRL never discontinues this amazing primer . It beats department store makeup primers .

Very sleek and easy to use packaging. The product is nice, but I do feel that I have to allow it to sit on my skin a lot longer before applying foundation for the texture to come out the way I like and I'm hoping for but you don't need to use a lot. A little goes a long way so it does give you nice coverage and it doesn't have an unpleasant smell.

My new go-to primer
I’ve been using this primer for 2 weeks every morning before makeup. It blends easily, leaves my skin soft and hydrated, and reduces the appearance of fine lines. The COVERGIRL Simply Ageless Skin Perfector Essence is a refreshing surprise! It feels super lightweight and hydrating on the skin, more like a skincare serum than traditional foundation. The pigment beads blend out nicely, giving a sheer, even tint that evens out my complexion without masking it. Perfect for no-makeup makeup days! I love that it contains 0.5% bakuchiol, a gentle retinol alternative, so I feel like I’m caring for my skin while wearing it. The finish is dewy and natural, which I really enjoy—though if you’re oily, you might want to set it with powder. It doesn’t cling to dry patches and wears comfortably all day. The only downside is the limited coverage, but it’s ideal if you like a skin-first look.
