It weighed down the volume, heavy feel & curl shrinkage(I have long hair) except it really does give curl definition. I noticed some comments here don't like to scent but I do like it to be honest and not overwhelming. Lastly, I'm surprised hair loss. I'm not sure it's true. I might try it one more time. Just going to add less product for this product (pillow soft curls lotion) & jelly soft curls gel. I hope this help
